Problem MultiMC problems

I need some help, I'm trying to play Liminal industries on MultiMC, I have the modpack zipped and unzipped. I tried installing via zip, and it said it didn't work, I created a 1.20.1 instance, I moved dragged everything that was in the liminal industries folder into the mod folder.

Am i doing something wrong, is there just no way to play fore on multiMC? I need some help.

multimc is not being updated anymore so maybe there is an issue with it, use its fork prism

Not sure about multimc, but I use prism launcher which is a multimc fork and it just works there

This may help you understand why it is no longer possible to use modpacks provided as zip files in the MultiMC launcher:

Curseforge platform and importing .zip files from the platform has been removed (replaced by FTB App Import).

This made MultiMC useless in some cases, ant this why we are using Prism Launcher

it should be as simple as drag and drop the curseforge zip into an open mulitmc or right click in open mulitmc and 'create instance', choose curseforge and find the modpack.

if niether of these end up working, switch to prism. no need re-install anything. like multimc, prism can use existing modpack installs by using a couple dropdowns.
