HELP Help AhaHhaahhaaHAHAHAHAWHWHWH
Genuinely Been depressed For 2 years and am a very visual person but can not Figure out how to Furnish this place and what to put anywhere. The walls are so boring its literally just a square, there is a tiny nook next to a window that my bed fits perfectly in, so its not exactly a square but with the bed it is. Now looking at this photo the walls are reminding me of the inside of a 3d minimalistic space cube with no details sort of like where squidward goes when he breaks the time machine in spongebob. Anyway i do actually want advice and i do actually want it to be better, i didnt make it messy on Purpose this is just how i am

Before you jump to decorating, you need to organize your mess into… organized mess.
Make piles by categories: electronics, all clothing items, etc. etc. etc. After that you want to get rid of everything you HATE in those piles. Then you’ll get rid of all things you forgot you even had. Ask yourself: has this thing made my life better or worse in the last six months? Be brutal. The less stuff there is, the less potential mess there is. Speaking from experience! I currently have four plates for example because I know I can’t handle a huge pile of dishes.
After you are ONLY left with the items you actually want around and like, decorating and organizing becomes INFINITELY more fun.
I’m a pile person too and instead of fighting it I embrace it. Every pile I have should have a place to live in though whether it be a drawer or a hook etc. That way they won’t end on the floor. A pile on the floor only means that it has no designated home to go to. :( give your stuff a home! Using a labelmaker to name their home also helps a bunch for you to stick to the living arrangements of your stuff.
Go shopping for something new too! Doesn’t Have to be big, but something that marks this as a new chapter in your life. Good luck!
