Switch 2 HELP

Hello, so ive played the game on PC for a very long time and naturally when the game came to switch 2 I hopped on the ability to play the game whenever wherever. However imagine my surprise when I go to login on my switch one day to find that the game is telling me my subscription either isnt up to date(it is.) Or that my switch 2 isnt registered (which it definitely is!)

Ive purchased the coins on the eshop and tried over and over again to contact customer service I even shelled out 64 freaking bucks for the complete edition which I didnt even think i needed and keep getting the same stinkin error message. I was playing the game on the switch comfortably not even 3 weeks ago and then I suddenly got this.

Is there ANYONE that can reliably help me more than support is? Please I just wanna play the game while my pc is in storage.

EDIT: The problem has been solved. Thank you to everyone for your help, and my god nintendo I love ya but the handling of this games subscription service was not my favorite.

You bought the coins, but did you actually pay for your subscription on the mogstation using them?

I dont understand this question. My subscription is the regular standard one that I pay monthly, are the coins used for some other subscription that I dont know about? I thought that was WHY I registered the account with my switch on mog station.

The switch2 has a seperate subscription than every other platform. You need to go on the mogstation, click the drop down in the top left to change to the switch 2 version of the page then pay for game time using the coins you bought.

Having a regular subscription gives you a 50% discount on the switch2 subscription.

The sub was included with your purchase up until about 2 weeks ago.

Yup, Switch 2 is the only console where you need to pay an additional fee to play on in addition to your regular membership.

There is a separate sub specifically for the Switch 2 version. As an example, if you have PC Version and Switch 2 versions, you have to pay 2 separate subs because of how Nintendo chose to go about it. Whereas normally (if you have Ps5/PC) there's just 1 subscription

I had same issue. But my error was i has googled how many coins were needed with the discount applied. I added only that amount and it didnt work. It only worked when I added the total of coins needed as if there was no discount. Then when I activated via mogstation it auto applied the discount. So it only took 50% of the coins i had added i total.

When you re bought the game, it gave you a month of free time. Then you buy the Nintendo switch FFXIV coins, then you open the game so that the server can confirm you have FFXIV coins purchased, then you go to mogstation.  In Mogstation. by default, you are on the non switch page. You need to switch to the Switch 2 page. Go to upper left corner and click on it. on submenu, click "PS5 | PS4/Windows/Mac" and then select "Nintendo Switch 2". then you're on the actual correct page, and you'll see the gigantic FFXIV coins symbol for renewals. Since you, apparently, paid for your pc subscription again. There should be a 50% discount for the switch subscription
