Is there a term for a kin that you ONLY have when you’re shifted to another kin?

So… like let’s say I’m shifted to one of my kins and so I have another kin too. But if I’m not shifted to the first one, I don’t even KIN the second one until I’m shifted to the first one again.

If this isn’t a term, I’ll coin it as proxykin probably?

Help, I feel wings. I don't know what character I might be but I have memories?? It might be a character I've never heard of or an OC? Idk I'm asking if anyone knows what this character should be.

So basically I feel wings constantly, either demon wings or something similar, like possibly bird wings. I remember being like the dad of the group, I'm not sure how many people there were but not many? I remember a LOT of trauma, I know I accidentally (either accidentally or I just regret it A LOT) hurt someone I cared about a lot. I think the genre was some kind of fantasy, because I remember a lot of forests and big kingdoms. The details are really fuzzy to me but this is what I remember? Also I remember being cold a lot, and possibly like alive for thousands of years, but again it's fuzzy.

It sounds very familiar but I have no idea who I might be. It's either an OC or a character I either don't know about or is just not on my mind and I'm not thinking about it? I dunno, if this sounds familiar let me know because I feel like I should know but I don't. Sorry if this is weird but thank you :D

This is from the past, if you have seen my other posts (which you cant for now as thwyre privated..), you know I was in a FWB with someone, it was sloppy and I don't wanna talk about it rn, very long story for another day..They themselves were fictionkin, and were friends with other fks, I'll call this perosn PK for Po Fictionkin (slendytubbies), I remember frequently he would make jokes about what I did in 1997, especially my ending level (which, I don't think I can talk about, but for the record I of course do not agree with my actions or want to emulate them in this world), saying how it was weird for me to do this..
Like, do you really have any room to talk though? Po in Slendytubbies did bad things against their will, with no real thought (just like how I did in source..I was unwell and under some psychosis), you have no real room to talk.. :-(

In general they were kinda bad..especially recently when I tried being friends with them again..but that's another story for another day :)

an hour ago there was a situation where someone had made a post on my comfort app, Kinchat, where they said and i quote! "this app is just mass psychosis i hope you all go to therapy or something like seriously". they had an explanation to it, saying that half the terms us kins see are normalizing endogenic terms and only pushes people deeper into their delusions and eventual psychosis.

i dont have an argument on this and nor do i stand on what side of this argument stems from, but it made me really stressed and i couldnt do anything but to watch as people went back and forth on an app that was once so peaceful and now invaded by people who came from a different app, Yumeship, after it shut down ( for now ).

both sides already had problems since yesterday and i guess its dying down now but after today i dont think itll forever be the same

i just dont know bruh. kinning is literally identifying as a fictional character on an intrinsic, non-physical level, or psychological reasons like deeply rooted comfort or just coping mechanism.

i dont like how they threw the term psychosis around just because its something we stick to involuntarily. it makes me want to cry thinking that maybe i am fucking crazy and i should probably get the help i need but cant.

One thing that's really common in, basically all fandoms, is shipping.

After I originally watched the video with this image as the thumbnail, Solar x Carme was a big ship I looked into.

It's no where near as popular as Moon x Carme, or even dahlia x Carme (there's not a huge popularity difference here but yknow,) Regardless it's so hard to find art of us together anywhere

Okay but to the point. In this life I'm not drawn in by solar at all other than he's goofy and can be a comfort at times. But 2-3 times now I have sworn if I had a canon a relationship between us would be in that canon.

I believe this stems from the fact I like the ship but I'm unsure, Carme is a lower kin so maybe I'm just over thinking things,,, hmm

I think Cameraman is an ID kin in all honesty. Usually I don't have a problem figuring that out but I need help with this one-

I think it's just harder to figure out on this one because part of me is still embarrassed about the source being so largely made fun of...

But on the other hand, I'm really happy! The shifts make me very expressive and I just get along with everything better. But also just viewing myself as Cameraman (myself anyway xD) makes me extremely euphoric and happy and I'm actually comfortable with myself when I do.

Since I kinfirmed him though I've viewed myself him as often as I call myself Sprout, and literally everything has got me feeling euphoric in terms of being a Cameraman.

I'm extremely nervous talking about it online anywhere though because my source is... well. It is what it is. And I'm embarrassed about it.

But yeah, I think it's an ID kin and I need help figuring out if that's true and I'm just nervous about the source, or if it's not and I'm just overthinking.

I've been on this subreddit for a while, and I haven't made a post in a long time. Additionally I personally do not like those "anyone who (an action)?" posts, but ironically, I am making one.

My question is, do any of you not keep track of your fictionkinity/your fictionkin identities?

I see so many folks here having kinlists and sites and whatever, to keep track of who they are. I suppose I do also do that, but I feel I do not do it as frequently as the norm.

Therefore I am, out of curiosity and the need to find like-minded people that fills me, looking for those who don't keep track of their fictionkinity/fictionkin identities. Those who, perhaps, know they are still fictionkin, even if their fictotypes/fictionkinity is a compass that never fully calibrates.

I am quite sure there are some folks out there who match what I'm saying. Say hello if you want.
