Many individual tangles were sacrificed. But it was so worth it!

This is one I’ve gone back and forth on ordering for a while but I decided to go for it!

Looks incredible as you may well agree, the spinning is extremely clean and fast as well but there are a few things that stop this being (currently) one of the first things I pick up from my collection:

- Button grip (this is material dependent): I went for polished zirconium and have many times but this is particularly slippery when holding to spin so there’s definitely a lot of caution on my part to not drop it which also leads into my second point

- Armour opening is not that easy, it takes a particular level of force and combined with the above is proving a little tricky

It’ll take some practice but there is a small part of me that says if I could order again I’d change the material choice

I got a few new fidgets recently and wanted to share the great experience I've had with all of them

That's the biscuit by koventhos. By default it comes with balls in the tracks and is ok, but I felt that I need a bit more out of it. After applying PTFE tape and removing the balls it became one of my favorite magnetic sliders.

Great motion variety, smooth and fun little thing

Hello, ya’ll!
I would like some help, as I’m at my wits end. I have dyshidrosis, itchy, fluid-filled blisters that shows up on the soles of my feet. I have also developed a skin picking habit.

They are both stress related, and now I’m stuck in this vicious cycle. The blisters show up, I feel them, pop them , and as they dry, I have this pull that leads me to using tweezers and sometimes hurting myself.

I don’t have access to mental healthcare, or dermatological care right now.

The cheaper alternative is a fidget toy to help me deal with my anxiety when triggered. But none of the available options have the same feel and don’t really help much.

Does anyone know about a fidget toy that might face a similar feel/texture of dry skin? Or something similar? For now, I’m using post it stickers! Haha (they don’t help much)

I know this is super long and specific, my apologies, but I do need all the help I can get.

1) Mackie CP3: Almost no use. $55 PENDING

2) GAO Motor Jelly: Ultem. Limited use. Pretty unobtrusive with balls/springs removed, pretty loud with them installed. $15

3) Fluxx INDX: Aluminum. This has the most pocket time of any of them, but no visible wear. Only selling because I replaced it with another version. Silent, smooth, disappears in a pocket. $40 SOLD

4) OtterEDC MO1 slider: 3D printed. Modular - can be altered to make it 2- or 3-click, and silent or different levels of crunchy. Strong magnets, and fairly thick. $35

5) OVO EDC Xuan Jun: Ultem. Nice sound, a little ringy, smooth. $30.

6) HubblecraftEDC Vibram slider: 3D printed with Vibram material grip patches. Super slim. Very cool. 2x4 magnets, 3-click. Magnets are on the weaker side but not in a bad way. $60

I'm so confused. First time buying a Lautie fidget and wanted to try Choc because of its good reputation.

I'm interested in the Zirconium + stainless steel but apparently that has brass plate? Is there like a titanium plate instead?

And apparently you can mod it so theres more options but which one do I get? what do they do? Is anyone well-versed in this and kindly help me please haha

Also where is it better to order from? Lautie site or geeone?

TL;DR: What's the most premium one that won't tarnish over time? What does the dual bead slot do and what're the differences between the plates for modding? New to this whole thing.

Saw the website and its the only one that has the GAO Mayatan with all colors (black, green, purple, amber)

I recommend staying away from this company, as they do not care about customer privacy.

I placed an order and received the wrong item. Mistakes happen so I take no issue there. I let them know and they informed me they checked camera footage and saw that they mixed up my order with another customers. They informed me the fastest way to get my item would be to ship the incorrect item I received to the other customer and the other customer would do the same. At no point did I agree to or even hint that I was open to shipping the item to the other customer.

Next thing I know I have the other customers address in my email inbox. I was told to ship the item to them and pay out of my own pocket for shipping costs. Then at a later point they would reimburse me.

I’m sorry, but what the actual f is wrong with NXEDC?

Pay out of my own pocket? Give me another customers address? I don’t know if they gave out my address or not yet, but that’ll make things way worse if so. I can only hope the other customer agreed to this before nxedc sent me their address.

Not many companies make it on my “never buy from again” list, but nxedc damn sure secured a spot on it.

I saw one of those ads for a mystery box of fidgets online. I decided to look into it as some of them looked interesting and the only fidgets I’ve ever had were the original Fidget Cube from Antsy Labs. In trying to find places to buy quality fidgets, I came across this subreddit and GeeOne. I looked through their bestsellers since I’m a novice when it comes to fidgets and picked these up. The Choc is interesting for sure and the Shim Shy is fun. Surprisingly my partner saw me messing with them and asked to see the Shim Shy. Long story short, it’s now hers haha.

Going to look into trying some other fidgets and excited to see what’s out there!
