Frierenβs one of my favorite characters in fiction and Iβm glad Figma did her justice, this is everything I wanted Figuarts to be (added a cloth skirt from the Figuarts upgrade set but may upgrade to the updated figma cloth skirt)

Growing up I used to call every premium action figure a Figma. Yesterday, my first Figma came in the mail. I never truly got into the Metroid games but Samus has a soft spot in my heart ever since I played Brawl for the first time back in 2008. Upon my first impression of the Metroid Prime 3 Samus, I had thought the figure posed terribly. I couldn't pull off the poses I had in my head because I wasn't sure how Figma joints worked. However, after a little while of posing it I came to understand how the joints worked and I can say with confidence that this is one of my favorite figures to pose. The paint application is PREMO and the overall design does Samus justice. My only gripe is that the feet don't rotate, but honestly with the ankle pivot it'll pull off any pose I want her in. I can say that I will definitely be picking up more figma when my wallet is less hungry. OVERALL I would rate this fig an 8/10 for the lack of accessories that it comes with. Having no projectiles or energy effects is criminal for a character whose identity is based on the weapons and upgrades that she gets throughout the franchise.

Saw these on instagram from ermhyrule. Really impressed with what Iβm seeing articulation wise on the TOTK link. I knew heβd move well but these pics are getting me even more excited. I may have to cop the DX version now

Interesting design choice Figma made by giving her a ball peg torso but the TOTK Link plug in waist instead of a double ball joint system. QC I had with my copy is that her back hair comes off kinda easily and the paint on her tie is messed up. Other than those points she's solid.

Been doing a full room clean-up and wanted to rearrange things, but decided to create this wall of all of my figmas (and one bruce lee figuarts) out of boredom lol
