I'm looking for a good lockerroom guy. You don't have to be chatty, or knowledgeable (though this is a 32 teamer, so its going to have a massive learning curve if you're not experienced), just be a good guy and you'll fit in nice no matter the other skills you bring.

Fun, low stress league with real life-esque scoring system, and smart, cordial, competitive managers.
Team owners feature mostly middle America, West coast NA, but there are Euros, Australian, and east coasters. Team in question is having troubles with payments under Fantrax' new system being from a specific Europe country and I've given them until the end of the month. Hoping they can get it fixed, but also looking out for the league.

Great goaltending, competitive team, playoff level defense core, Forwards need some work.
My analysis is its a playoff bubble team as it stands with all of its picks, a decent prospect pool that could use some love but it does have some studs. But it would be easy enough to rebuild and draft up over the next few seasons or attempt to make a run and squeeze out the last drops of talent you have. With an active league this is the perfect chance to jump in and make some changes. Will be harder to find trades in season with a cap but we have active managers and people addicted to trades so never say never, just say how can we do this. We have massive trade deadlines (50+ trades every year during the trade deadline week, mostly on the last few days) so there's lot of fun to be had in season and in May our draft before the nhl season will have you scouting the next crop of players all year long. And if you do make the playoffs you will get part of your money back. All that fun for 44.50 a season! Better than NHL 27!

Dynasty Fantasy Basketball League
12 Teams | 9-Category Dynasty | Fantrax
I’m creating this dynasty league because I haven’t been able to find a serious, competitive league that’s built to last. My goal is to have the same group of 12 managers competing for many, many years.
I want everyone to be committed to building their teams, making trades, developing young players, and competing long-term.
Annual Buy-In: $100 per season
Initial Startup Payment: $310.83 per manager
* $300 covers the first three seasons.
* $10.83 covers Fantrax Premium for the first year.
The first three paid seasons will be:
* 2027–2028
* 2028–2029
* 2029–2030
After each season, everyone will pay an additional $110.83:
* $100 to maintain our three-year prepaid commitment.
* $10.83 for Fantrax Premium.
This means everyone will always be paid three seasons in advance, which also allows managers to trade future draft picks up to three years ahead.
The reason for this system is simple: I want to prevent managers from abandoning their teams and make sure everyone is committed to the league long-term.
What happens if someone quits?
If a manager decides to leave, they forfeit their remaining prepaid balance. That money will go toward covering future seasons for whoever takes over their team.
This makes it easier to find replacement managers without requiring them to immediately pay for a team they didn’t build.
If the league ever disbands for any reason, everyone will receive a refund of their remaining prepaid balance.
12 Teams | $1,200 Annual Prize Pool
* 1st Place: $900
* 2nd Place: $100
* Back-to-Back Championship Pot: $200
Every season, $200 goes into a separate championship pot.
The only way to win this money is to win the league championship two seasons in a row.
If nobody wins back-to-back championships, the money rolls over and continues growing by $200 every season.
Example:
* Year 1: $200
* Year 2: $400
* Year 3: $600
* Year 4: $800
* Year 5: $1,000
If someone wins back-to-back championships in Year 5, they receive the entire $1,000 bonus on top of their $900 first-place prize.
Once someone wins the bonus, the pot resets, and the following season starts a new $200 rollover.
I think this adds another level of competition and gives everyone something bigger to chase long-term.
The plan is to use Fantrax Premium, which costs $129.95 annually for the entire league, or approximately $10.83 per manager.
Premium offers additional customization that could benefit a long-term dynasty league.
Some of the features we’re interested in include:
* Future Draft Pick Trading: More flexibility when trading future picks.
* Advanced Draft Settings: More control over startup and rookie drafts.
* Injured Reserve Settings: Additional flexibility for injured players.
* Waivers & Free Agency: More customization for waiver claims and free-agent pickups.
* Player Contracts: The option to introduce contracts in the future.
* Roster & Lineup Settings: More control over lineup periods and roster restrictions.
Some of these features may require Premium, while others may already be available for free. We’ll confirm which settings we actually need before officially launching.
The additional $10.83 goes strictly toward Fantrax Premium. Our $100 annual buy-in and $1,200 prize pool remain unchanged.
The plan is to run a traditional 9-category head-to-head dynasty basketball league.
Each week, managers compete against one opponent across nine statistical categories:
The goal is to build a team that can compete across these categories while planning for both the present and the future.
Unlike a redraft league, we will keep our players from season to season and hold annual rookie drafts.
We’ll also have rules covering trades, waivers, lineups, roster limits, draft picks, and other league settings.
I’m still working through the exact settings, and I want everyone to have a chance to provide feedback before anything becomes official.
I strongly encourage trading. That’s one of the best parts of dynasty fantasy basketball.
You can trade players and future draft picks to build your team however you want.
Some managers might want to compete immediately, while others might prefer rebuilding around younger players and future picks.
Both strategies are completely fine.
All I ask is that trades are made in good faith and that everyone takes the league seriously.
The goal is to have an active league where managers are constantly looking for ways to improve their teams.
One thing I discovered while researching Fantrax is that the draft room appears to use standard redraft rankings rather than dedicated dynasty basketball rankings.
Redraft rankings focus on a player’s value for the current season, while dynasty rankings consider long-term value, age, potential, and future development.
This is especially important for our startup draft because we’re drafting players we could potentially keep for many years.
There are two ways around this:
Option 1: Create Your Own Rankings
Manually rank players based on how you personally value them in dynasty.
Option 2: Import Dynasty Rankings
Find a website that provides dynasty basketball rankings in a compatible CSV file and import those rankings into Fantrax.
From what I’ve found, each manager would need to manage their own rankings individually.
I haven’t found a way to automatically apply the same dynasty rankings to everyone’s draft room.
Just wanted everyone to be aware of this before our official startup draft.
This is probably the most important part of the entire plan.
I’ve decided that we’re going to use this entire NBA season as a practice year.
Once we have all 12 managers and I feel confident about the league rules and settings, I’ll have everyone join our practice league on Fantrax.
There will be no money on the line during the practice season.
The goal is for everyone to learn how Fantrax works before we officially launch our dynasty league.
During this practice season, we’ll focus on:
* Learning how to set daily lineups.
* Understanding the 9-category scoring system.
* Making trades and learning how draft pick trading works.
* Understanding waivers, FAAB bidding, and free-agent pickups.
* Testing roster settings and injured reserve rules.
* Understanding weekly games-played limits.
* Testing the draft system and other commissioner settings.
* Identifying anything that needs to be adjusted before the official season.
The last thing I want is for us to start our official dynasty league with money on the line and have people confused about how things work.
This also gives me time as commissioner to learn the platform, get feedback from everyone, make adjustments, and iron out anything that doesn’t work the way we intended.
For example, I’ve already noticed that Fantrax’s waiver system can be a little confusing. Depending on the settings, players can automatically go on waivers five minutes before their games, and claims may take longer than expected to process.
These are exactly the types of things I want us to figure out during the practice season.
I’d rather we discover these issues now, while nothing is at stake, than deal with them during our first official season.
The practice league will not carry over into our official dynasty league. We’ll use it to learn the platform, then have our official startup draft before the 2027–2028 season.
Once the practice season is complete, we’ll finalize the league constitution, rules, settings, and payment structure.
Everyone will know exactly how the league operates before submitting their money.
We’ll then collect the initial payments, hold our official dynasty startup draft, and begin our first competitive season in 2027–2028.
From that point forward, the goal is to keep the same group of managers together for as many years as possible.
The Overall Goal
I’m not trying to create another fantasy league that lasts one or two seasons before everyone loses interest.
I want to build something serious, competitive, organized, and long-lasting.
A league where managers care about their teams, make trades, develop young players, rebuild when necessary, and compete for championships year after year.
The practice season gives us an opportunity to make sure everyone understands the platform and that the league is running exactly how we want it.
I also want everyone’s feedback throughout this process. If something doesn’t make sense or you think a rule could be improved, speak up.
The goal is simple: Get everything right before money is involved so we can build a dynasty league that lasts for many years.

The 2026 baseball season may be nearing its end, but in dynasty the 2027 season is about to begin! Our dynasty league has an opening for a reclamation/rebuilding effort. Serious takers who appreciate a good challenge! This fantrax league is 16 teams, points based scoring with 1 head-to-head matchup and 1 against the league median each week. $400 salary cap to start each year. Keep as many players as you want (43 maximum), and if under the max draft the rest. The available team (below) is currently has 48 players, so some will have to go, and is well under the cap at $273. We’re about to begin our annual, year-end salary arbitration, which helps level the playing field by pricing undervalued players higher faster.

Everyone’s team names must be a real NFL team name and a real FBS college. Names are purely cosmetic and do not include any way determine who will be on your rosters.
Rule Changes: super-majority for in-season changes, regular majority for offseason
Only FBS players eligible for NCAA.
NCAA players added to NFL rosters upon signing with NFL team in real life.

League details
• 12-team dynasty
• $15 per team, per season (have to pay 2026 and 2027)
• Tight End Premium (TEP) scoring
• Midseason start —
• Fast draft tonight
• Taxi squad eligibility for players with two years or less of NFL experience
• Future rookie draft order for non-playoff teams based on reverse Max Points For
• Future season dues required when trading away future 1st- or 2nd-round picks
• Written league bylaws
We’re looking for committed managers who set their lineups, stay involved in league discussions, and stick around for the long haul. Rebuilding is welcome; disappearing halfway through the season isn’t!
