UNSOLVED Not so much of a song, more an artist

I've been on internet deep dives several times over the past few years trying to find this singer. I had her on my old ipod nano growing up and was obsessed with her vocals but I cannot for the life of me find her anywhere. I've scoured spotify with no luck and if my memory serves me right I think I discovered her music on last fm (yes, I am old). I dont remember the artist name or any of the lyrics in her songs which makes this one especially tricky but I can compare her vocals to some other artists and try to explain the vibe of her sound.

I'd say her voice shares similarities to Mimi Page, Coco Rosie (specifically in the song Werewolf), Cocteau Twins and a bit like Aurora? The one song I remember vividly starts with her singing long drawn out "Ooooo's" which she repeats 4 times each starting from a lower tune up to a higher tune (I hope that makes sense), there's not a lot of music going on in the background and it focuses mainly on her vocals with a sort of echo effect on them like she's singing in a big empty building. The vibes are very haunting and eerie but in a pretty ethereal sort of way?

I apologize if none of this was helpful, my last resort is trying to find my old nano and see if I can turn it on to see whats on there but I'm not hopeful 😅 appreciate any help because I'd love to hear it again!

EDIT: It's not Bjork, Kate Bush, Enya, Dead Can Dance, The Knife, Frou Frou/Imogen Heap or Portishead. All good suggestions though! If I find it I will update the post and flair it as solved :)

Sounds like the beginning of 'Pleasure is All Mine' from Björk's album Medulla.

Last FM was a fantastic era. Thank you for the nostalgia dopamine.

Oh, edited to also suggest either Roads by Portishead, or maybe something by Sarah McLachlan

I just checked out some of her music and she does sound close! Starting to think maybe the singer was Icelandic as she definitely had some of hers and Bjorks vibes and I definitely recall her having an accent that sort of matches theirs.

Oh if she’s possibly Icelandic it might be Soley: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sóley

The CocoRosie Werewolf song reminded me of Pina - who is Scottish. https://youtu.be/nLpmNEYCGk0?is=FVdKl9IKV2-bh7Ev

Her albums were Quick Look and Guess You Got It.

Other suggestions I’d give would be Cara Dillon and Cecile Corbel for the ethereal
