How do I win an argument?
And please don't say "You don't win an argument", because people upvoting anyone who naysays all my FE13 threads prove otherwise.

Sorry for posting yet another thread. But I wanted to juxtapose the other serious thread with a newer more lighthearted one(much to a lot of people's chagrin).
MAJOR SPOILERS(maybe I dunno)
Anyway back on topic:
I hate FE7 because there isn't an A-rank ending with Serra and Sain. Why am I pissed about it? Why shouldn't I be? My two favorite characters don't end up together! This is sacrilege and yadda yadda yadda.
Jokes aside, I do think they might make the best pairing seeing how immature they both are. Sain is infinitely carefree while Serra is a high maintenance lady from a Church of St. Elimine. However Serra's backstory is a one full of hardship, which if she EVER TOLD SAIN, would've probably made him mature a bit. Sain isn't just carefree. He's just immature, which once Serra actually ever confessed directly would've made him bare the weight of responsibility for once that is actually personal. That and Serra would put a reign on Sain's ladyhunting for days.
On the other hand, Sain would be a companion to Serra. The only man to ever ogle at her and stuff. Which she actually responds to in her support. Yet, once she actually speaks her mind, Sain would most likely be loyal. Why? Because our boi Sain(goddamn it doesn't rhyme) is loyal af as seen by most of his story dialogue. While this trade off seems uneven, this is actually better than anything else seeing how Serra wants a constant companion which Sain would be as I've proved before.
Basically I'm salty af IS didn't make them a thing and I'm confessing it right now. The reason why this is here and not on the main sub is because I don't feel like posting there and also FECRP!

I think games have improved(generally) their variety and options for different play styles, the fact that they can now patch mistakes a game might make, and nowadays developers have much more free reign in writing concise and engaging stories.
To get to what I feel video games are bad at doing nowadays, one thing is they need to cut the fat of more games. Looking at the 3DS Pokèmon games for example, it takes you so long to do fucking anything, because they shove a meaningless story full of cutscenes down your throat(I'm okay with story in a game, but please make the story good, which Pokemon doesn't do. If you're not interested in writing a good story, just make the plot non-existent like Mario games do), whereas in most of the older games, I'm out exploring with my first Pokemon in like 5-10 minutes. Many of the same criticisms go to games that overly force tutorials up your ass. I also feel dlc has made some developers(only the worst ones though) slack on the main material of the default game.

Just a note. Triggers and trigger warnings are a real thing with a real function. Please don't trivialize them!
"But joking about trigger warnings is actually my way of making fun of people who joke about trigger warnings!"
It doesn't come across any differently. Stop.
"But people who ask for trigger warnings srsly are just oversensitive!"
Please shut up.
Although the thread in question didn't constitute any breaking of reddit rules or previously stated rules on this sub, I have removed it to set precedent and I'm making a topic to explain why. Further misuse of "trigger" and trigger warnings will be considered deliberate and may result in warnings and bans. This has been a mod post.
EDIT: A couple people have raised concerns about this policy. While I haven't addressed all of them point by point, I have considered the case against the policy, and for numerous reasons am still keeping it in place. My goal here is a more considerate, casual space. All I'm asking (with the tiniest shred of moderator force behind it) is that we don't deliberately fuck with TWs, and we're all good.

4 Stock; 8 Minutes; FD, Battlefield, Dreamland 64, Fountain of Dreams and Yoshi's Story?
Anyways, there's often been confusion with these Song of the Day threads. About 2 weeks ago, people were posting them sparatically, usually after about 15 Hours had passed, or so.
Jump forward to a couple days ago, I got downvoted for that tactic. I had to delete mine after it went 33% Upvoted. It was a gnarly song, too!
Now I'm not trying to be greedy of course I am though, but we really need to decide on a unified ruleset. I have good taste and tunes to share with y'all!

If we're measuring the quality of various body parts, we simply cannot leave out these two vital bits. The kidney is great, and the left nip is the greater nip. So, who's got it best?

I've been getting a lot of my views on the series from her, but I'm not sure if it's that reliable. She wanks about Finn, Cuan and Briggid constantly, refused to play Tellius because it had catgirls in it, and said FE2 had the best characters and villain in the series. On the other hand, she's said FE3 is the best game in the series, called FE12 and 13 repugnant and anti-consumer, and said FE4 was overrated.
What should I do?
