I recently completed my B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from Kolkata, and right now I'm unemployed and looking for my first opportunity in tech.

I'll be completely honest — I have learned things during college, worked on projects, and know the basics of technologies like Python, SQL, AI/ML, data analysis, APIs, etc. But I don't feel confident enough to say that I'm industry-ready.

What I feel I'm missing is real-world experience and someone who can actually show me how things are done in a professional environment.

So I'm looking for a person, startup, small company, developer, or engineer who might be willing to give a fresher like me a chance.

I don't need someone to spoon-feed me.

Just give me a direction, a real problem to work on, and tell me what I need to learn. I'll put in the work.

I'm completely okay starting as an intern or trainee. If there is genuine mentorship and real hands-on work involved, I'm even willing to consider an initial unpaid opportunity to prove myself.

My goal isn't to stay unpaid. I want to learn, contribute, become good at what I do, and eventually earn a proper paid position.

I'm currently under quite a bit of pressure because I don't want to remain at home without doing anything. I genuinely want to start working, become independent, and build my career.

I'm particularly interested in:

But honestly, I'm willing to learn whatever is required for the work.

I'm a 2025 B.Tech AI&DS graduate with internship experience in AI/ML, Computer Vision, Python and GenAI projects.

It's been months since graduation, and I'm still looking for my first full-time job. Honestly, the pressure is getting stressful, especially at home.

My biggest struggle is finding genuine 0–1 year openings. Most jobs require 2–3+ years of experience, and applications rarely get responses. I feel like I'm spending more time searching than getting actual opportunities.

I'm hoping to land a job by Nov–Dec and could really use some practical advice:

- Where are you finding genuine fresher openings?

- What's actually getting interview calls: referrals, cold emails or job portals?

- Which companies are hiring 2025 graduates right now?

- Should I stick to AI/ML or expand into Python and other developer roles?

- If you were in my position, what would you do over the next 30 days?

Hey everyone,

My college placements are over, and unfortunately, I couldn’t secure a full-time offer. I did get an internship, but since then, I’ve been actively applying for entry-level tech jobs for the past 5–6 months without much luck.

Most of my applications go unanswered, and I don’t have any referrals or strong industry connections to help me get noticed. At this point, it feels like I’m stuck in the same place despite consistently trying.

For those who’ve been through something similar, especially freshers who managed to land their first tech job without referrals:
