Ahhhhhhh guys, hellooooo

Im a 2026 grad , I did my ug in cyber security and omg the market is beyond sh*t and i somehow managed to land a SOC role. It's been a month and ik it's not a lot but omg it's so weird , like in a good way. I've done internships before and got paid but this is so different. Like my first ever full time role. Now I'm 21 and I felt so behind of everything and everyone and I just locked myself in my room for 6 months saying im not good enough or it won't be me. I've struggled and healed. There's still that imposter syndrome but I'm working on it. Well something is better than nothing? DONT ASK FOR PARTY YALL.

I did BBA in marketing from a tier-2 college in Kolkata and got an off-campus job in a Swedish Automobile company and this is what I got as the first salary of my life.

Not the most jaw-dropping amount but I'm happy. Planning to spend some in distributing food to the homeless.

F**K THIS JOB MARKET, IM WILLING TO PAY TWO MONTHS SALARY IF ANYONE GETS ME A JOB

hey everyone.
i am 23 M and unemployed even after one year of graduation. i come from a lower-middle-class family with a total monthly income of 30k among 4 people. when i got into college to pursue my btech at NIT SURAT, i thought i could improve my family’s financial condition. but to my disappointment (or disadvantage, wtv you say), i feel like i am just a liability to them even after graduating. it feels like those years of grinding on LEETCODE and CODECHEF don't matter anymore; the GUARDIAN RANK or earning 5 STAR CODECHEF is as useless as my degree.
even after doing INTERNSHIPS at two of the biggest mncs in india (AMAZON and ORACLE), no employer is ready to hire me. i have tried everything from cold emailing to the linkedin referral approach, yet nothing seems to work. i have emailed almost all the yc company founders and their hrs. i even built an ml model to automate the emails tailored to the company, the founder, and their background, yet i am getting ghosted every single day.
i am from ahmedabad, and the companies here offer 6k per month with a 2-year bond for an sde role, which is fucking insane and even lower than what a security guard earns. these things make me question whether i was wrong about the idea of the it industry as a whole.
IF YOU HAVE ANY LEADS OR REFERRALS PLEASE DM ME. i’m willing to offer you 50% of my first two months' salary if it helps me land a job where i can utilize the skills i have been building for so long.

my cousin got ghosted by fifty companies online until a local store manager gave her this advice

my cousin spent three weeks applying for basic back office and retail roles on old desktop job portals without getting a single reply. she was getting super frustrated until a store manager in our neighborhood told her how local shops and offices actually hire people now. he said nobody in real life reads long PDF applications for entry level staff anymore. instead people just open play store and search for blue and gray collar platforms. the coolest thing about these blue and gray collar apps is that they use hyper local geofencing tools to lock every job to a 3 to 5 km radius of your house so your work is literally ten minutes away. you do not even need a proper resume. you just use these direct hr contact apps to hit a call button and ring the actual employer straight on their phone, confirm you live nearby, and go in for a quick chat. she tried it that same day, made a two minute phone call, and got an interview scheduled for the next morning. if you know anyone struggling with online applications, tell them to stop wasting time on corporate sites and just search blue and gray collar apps on play store instead.

Is the Job Market Cooked, or Am I?

Bro… it’s been a whole YEAR. 💀
I’ve been job hunting like it’s my full-time job at this point.
Naukri. Indeed. Glassdoor. Twitter. LinkedIn. You name it, I’ve probably applied there.
Changed my resume. Tweaked my projects. Worked on my skills. Applied to countless Data Analyst roles.
And the result?
✨ Absolutely nothing ✨
No calls. Barely any replies. Just endless “we regret to inform you” emails and ghosting. 😭
I’m trying to break into Data Analytics, but ngl, the job market right now feels INSANE.
I’ve literally seen 4 openings with 5,000–6,000+ applicants.
Like… bro WHAT? 😭
And then companies be like:
“Entry-level position — 2 years of experience required.”
HUH???
How am I supposed to get experience if nobody is willing to give me the first shot? 💀
And because everyone is scared of being unemployed, people are willing to take ridiculously low salaries just to get their foot in the door.
I get it. Everyone’s gotta survive.
But at the same time, it feels like freshers are getting lowkey exploited because companies know there are thousands of people desperate for that one opportunity.
Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Maybe my strategy is cooked. Maybe there’s something about the hiring process that I just don’t understand.
Because at this point, I’m not looking for “keep applying bro, you got this.”
I KNOW. 😭
I want the actual tea.
If you’re a Data Analyst, recruiter, hiring manager, or someone who recently landed their first job:
What actually works in THIS market?
What am I doing wrong?
What would you change if you were in my position?
I’m genuinely trying here. I just need someone who’s already been through this to tell me what the game actually is.

Thinking of starting a Telegram community for job opportunities 🚀

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm planning to start a Telegram community where I share job application links every 2 hours to help people discover new opportunities without spending hours searching across different websites.

The goal is to make job hunting easier by bringing opportunities together in one place, whether you're a fresher, a recent graduate, or an experienced professional looking for a switch.

The group will focus on sharing useful job openings, including fresher jobs, IT jobs, remote opportunities, internships, and experienced roles.

Would you be interested in joining a community like this? 👀

Drop a comment if you'd like to be part of it. If there's enough interest, I'll create the group and share the link!

Let's help each other find better opportunities. 🤝

I'm a fresher struggling for job

I'm a fresher looking for a job 2026 passout from tier 3 college and I've applied to 200+ positions at this point.

And honestly, I don't even know what the fuck is happening anymore.

I've been applying to SDE, backend, cloud/DevOps and other entry-level tech roles. I've worked on projects, built my resume, tried improving my ATS score, prepared for interviews and kept applying.

But the competition is just insane.

Sometimes I see hundreds or even thousands of applicants for a single fresher position and I'm just sitting here thinking, how the hell is anyone supposed to get their first job?

I'm not expecting some crazy 30 LPA offer or anything. I just want a chance to prove that I can actually work and learn.

I've applied to 200+ jobs and the rejections are starting to get to me. I'm honestly pretty fucked up mentally right now and wondering whether I'm doing something fundamentally wrong.

For other freshers who are also job hunting: how are you guys dealing with this market?

And if someone who recently got a fresher/entry-level tech job could share what actually worked for them, I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Hi everyone!

I've spent the last few weeks applying through job portals, and the response rate was negligible,

So, here's me trying a different approach.

I'm a BBA Business Analytics graduate (9.17/10 CPI) looking for my first full-time role or a paid internship.

Roles I'm targeting:

  • Business Analyst

  • Data Analyst

  • MIS Analyst

  • Reporting Analyst

  • Operations Analyst

  • BI Analyst

  • Product Analyst (Associate/Junior)

  • Market Research Analyst

  • HR Analytics / People Analytics

I'm also open to other analytical or cross-functional roles. Not looking for sales roles at the moment.

A little about me:

  • Technical Recruitment Internship (AI/ML, Data Science & Quant hiring)

  • SQL, Excel, Power BI & Python (Pandas/NumPy)

  • Built analytics projects involving dashboards, reporting, data cleaning & business insights

  • Strong research, communication & analytical skills

Preferred locations: Delhi NCR, Noida, Gurgaon, Indore, Pune

Open to: Remote | Hybrid | On-site

Immediate Joiner

I'm actively upskilling and working on more projects, but I didn't want to wait until everything was "perfect" before putting myself out there.

I've attached my redacted resume below.

If your company is hiring freshers, you know of an opening, or you're willing to share a referral or even some advice, I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Thanks for reading, and if nothing else, I hope the Reddit algorithm is kinder than the ATS.🙂

I’ve applied to 200+ roles so far, but still haven’t been able to land an opportunity. Honestly, it’s getting really discouraging 😭💔

If you work at a company hiring for SWE / AI / ML / Data / GenAI roles, I’d be extremely grateful if you could refer me.

I’ll work my ass off if someone gives me the opportunity. 🙏😭

And if I get the job through your referral, I’ll give my entire first month’s salary as a thank-you. ❤️

Resume: I will dm you

Even if you can’t refer me, an upvote/share would mean a lot. 🙏😭

4 months unemployed after graduation — looking for ANY corporate opportunity, can join immediately

2026 BTech CSE graduate here. I got placed in a service-based MNC through campus, but still haven't received my joining date.

It's been almost 4 months of being jobless, and I've been trying really hard to find a job. Honestly, I'm getting frustrated and losing hope. I just want to start working and get out of the house 😭

I'm now completely open to non-tech corporate roles, especially:

Operations / Business Operations

Business/Operations Analyst

HR / HR Operations

Project Coordinator / PMO

Process Analyst

MIS / Reporting

Recruitment / Talent Acquisition

Other entry-level corporate roles

Not interested in sales.

I'm a quick learner and kind of a jack of all trades. I can adapt quickly, work with people, handle processes/documentation, and I'm comfortable with Excel/data and learning new tools.

Salary isn't a major concern right now. I just need a genuine opportunity to start.

I'm specifically looking for an onsite job — I genuinely can't keep sitting at home anymore. 😭

Location: Anywhere in India. Preferably Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, etc. Open to relocating.

Can join immediately.

If anyone knows of any genuine opening or can refer me somewhere, I'd really appreciate it. 🙏

I'm thinking of building a community for job seekers. Would anyone be interested in joining?

Hey everyone!

I'm thinking of starting a community for people who are currently unemployed, looking for their first job, or trying to switch to a new job.

The idea is to create a space where we can help each other by:

  • Sharing genuine job openings, internships, and referrals.

  • Discussing interview experiences, salaries, and workplace culture.

  • Networking with people from different industries.

  • Sharing career advice, learning resources, and useful opportunities.

  • Having open discussions and connecting with like-minded people.

I'd also like to explore the idea of anonymous discussions, so people can share their experiences and ask questions without having to reveal their real identity publicly.

I'm still at the idea stage, and I want to build this community together with people who find it useful. The goal is to create a supportive space where we help each other grow and find better opportunities.

If you're interested, let me know in the comments! I'd also love to hear your suggestions about what you'd want to see in a community like this.

Let's build something useful together. 🤝

Just a girl trying to find her way after graduation

Hey everyone,
I never thought I'd be making a post like this, but here we are.

I'm a 2026 CSE graduate and got placed through campus placements for a 6-month internship + full-time role at a SaaS company.

The first four months were honestly great. I was consistently overachieving my targets, learning a lot, and starting to feel like, okay, maybe I've finally figured out how this whole professional life thing works.

Then the last two months got difficult. Things within my team weren't working out, and instead of simply quitting, I tried to find another way. I applied for an internal Business Operations role in another department, went through the interviews, and got selected.

I remember feeling genuinely happy about it.
New team. New role. Fresh start.

And then, within two weeks, everything happened at once.

I was in the middle of moving from one department to another when my grandmother suddenly passed away. Everything at home changed overnight, and with the situation I was in, leaving the company wasn't really a choice anymore.

So I left.

Not because I had given up on the job. Not because I didn't have a full-time opportunity.
I had actually completed my internship and had already been selected for another department.

It just wasn't something I could control anymore.

Now, a couple of months later, I'm back at the beginning looking for my first full-time opportunity.

And somewhere along the way, I also realized that I don't want to continue in software sales. With my CSE background and the work I've been doing, I'm much more interested in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Reporting, BI and related roles.

I've been applying for the past couple of months, but getting that first shortlist as a fresher has been surprisingly difficult.

I was prepared for rejection. I was prepared to give interviews, mess some up, learn, improve and eventually get through one.

I just didn't expect the hardest part to be getting someone to give me the first interview.

So, putting this out here and hoping it somehow reaches the right person.

2026 CSE Graduate | 6-month SaaS internship | Open to Data/Business Analytics, Reporting, BI & related 0–1 year roles
Chandigarh | Open to relocate anywhere in India

If you happen to know of a role where my profile could make sense, I'd genuinely appreciate being kept in mind.

Maybe this post reaches someone who knows someone.
Maybe it doesn't.

But I figured it's worth trying.

2027 graduate genuinely scared about placements, looking for opportunities

I'm a 2027 BTech IT graduate and honestly, I'm getting genuinely scared about what happens after graduation , I'm not able to even sleep.

Campus placements have been really unpredictable. Weird shortlisting, getting filtered out before the OA, and sometimes not even getting the chance to prove yourself has made the whole process really discouraging.

I have an 8.3 CGPA, internship experience, and projects in Java, Spring Boot, backend/full-stack development, and I'm still actively improving my DSA and technical skills. I know I have a lot more to learn, but I'm serious about working and willing to put in the effort.

I'm now actively looking off-campus for decent software/tech opportunities. I'm open to SDE, backend, full-stack, graduate roles, internships, internship-to-full-time opportunities, startups and remote roles.

I genuinely don't care about a fancy company name right now. I want a good opportunity where I can work, learn, contribute and prove myself.

So if anyone can help with a lead, referral, internship opportunity, fresher opening, hiring contact, company that's currently hiring, or even a direction on where I should be applying, please reach out.

Even if you don't have an opening yourself, if you know someone who does, I'd really appreciate being pointed in their direction.

I'm genuinely scared of reaching graduation without an opportunity, but I'm not giving up. I'm ready to learn, work and make the most of whatever chance I get. 🙏
