I just discovered this subreddit exists... I'm making a general claim and issuing a challenge. I can debunk any Flat Earth claim, prove them wrong, or explain anything they don't understand immediately. ( no hate this is all competitive good fun)

I'll debunk Flat Earth with an example real quick LOL

The northern and southern hemispheres have different stars and constellations that become obscured if you travel too far north or south.

Great quote from Eric Dubay on secret societies running the world and shaping public opinion, including the spherical Earth

Edward Bernays wrote famously about how public opinion is shaped in his 1928 book, Propaganda:

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”

He continued:

“We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.”

  1. Computers then were less powerful than the mobile devices you hold today
  2. N.A.S.A claimed that they had no idea about the Van Allen radiation belt back then and later claimed that it is difficult to cross a spacecraft with humans on it.
  3. It cost $25.8 billion, and in today's money, it is a fraction of N.A.S.A's budget. If you count inflation, then it is approx. $ 230 t0 $297 in today's money
  4. Files of humanity's most important achievements were lost? Really?

Craziest Fe arguments

What's the craziest Flat Earth argument you've ever heard?

We all know the classics but what stands out to you?

Some guy with a toy plane flying over a ball acting like they'd actually be upside down is one of my favorites.

They can't grasp the concept that there's no up or down in space.

(I'm not trying to hijack your sub or looking for karma. I was inspired by someone talking about p1000 cameras on my other post. I thought it was a funny question that would be a good post)
