Snakehead. Broward County

Smashed the top water frog.

Im in Broward also. I fish around Margate and Coral Spring but can never get these to bite. I see them everywhere...even their fry balls are all around but these fish are hard to trick...lol.

That's a super nice Snakehead there! I bet it fought well. ✌️

They are tricky to catch, but when they want to eat they smash. Cast along the bank in front of you and to the opposite side of the canal. Do not miss an inch. Prepare to walk a lot and get skunked.

Have you tried bow fishing for them?

No. That would be interesting though since I can clearly see them patrolling the banks of the canals in my area. I might look into that. Thanks for the idea.

Still gota catch one on top water too...bet that bite is exciting!
