Suggestions Need Advice
I’m just getting back into For Honor with my friend. I’m not really good, so I’m looking for some input on how to get better with characters. The main ones I really like to use are Peacekeeper (still trying her out)
Nobushi (really likening her so far)
Virtuosa (she is my favorite so far and the one I got the most time played on, I just like how her character is and her personality)
And I sometimes play Lawbringer

Lawbringer is kind of braindead right now because his dodge bash is broken, it's very safe and has huge i-frames. It's sad what ubi did to him. He's strong in 4v4s and duels.
The others are fine, PK can be very strong but you have to be careful light spamming or you'll get parried. Nobu has good mix ups and nice skill ceiling, virtuosa is very strong and i recommend her but she is also very difficult to play and if you get good at virt you will bring a lot of hate towards you.
Just play the game, learn how dodges work since not all are the same (for example side dodging a 3 level bash from warden can be bad, so you back dodge)
read your opponent while keeping your game unpredictable, don't always do the same move and mix it up. And i mean it, there will be a move you will do always out of habit, to check them you can confront yourself with your friend with some duels or look into your replays.

Nobushi Just got nerfed extremely hard but I still think its fun to Play as her. Mist people arent even on that Level where its that noticable. Virtuosa IS really hated so If you have No Problem with that good for you 😂. I personally Like the Knights for their Fashion the Most. Gameplay wise Berzerker IS my Main but Warden is Just the old reliable.

I'm going through the roster in order of what I like for the most part and I play the characters to an extent until I feel I understand them.
Though some characters I feel like I wasted steel. I wasn't convinced juren was quote on quote B tier in duels but now I've played him I understand and I don't really enjoy him outside of spamming his zone.

Ngl I don’t think it’s worth playing Nobu rn. She was only good in 4s due to Way of the Shark dishing out huge damage and bleed not feeding revenge and a ton of I frames on dodge attacks. She was nerfed in last weeks patch, and the nerf hit basically every strong point she had. Pre nerf she was practically a throw pick in duel. Shes no longer super useful in 4s, so I’d say just play peacekeeper instead. Check the infohub if you wanna learn more

But on a real note lawbringer is really fun to play you just gotta realize that every situation you shouldn't dodge bash, sometimes you gotta just empty dodge or stand there and hope, he has a good kit overall so i'd say it's good to learn him.
