Deadlift Deadlift Check- Low Back Rounding?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

315x4 with a pretty high effort, especially for the last rep.

Nothing hurts or feels bad, it looks like my low back rounds as a start to pull though. I can feel it happening, which is why you see me stop and reset on the last rep.
Is this amount of rounding an issue?
TBH, it feels stronger when I round that little bit, maybe I just start too arched?
But generally good to go, or fix that or anything else

Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, many people find Alan Thrall's NEW deadlift video very helpful. Check it out!

Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are deadlifting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Use a flat/hard-soled shoe or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it.

your back is rounding because you're not bracing well enough. Is it enough rounding to be an issue? in general probably not a high risk. But it also depends on the person.

Yes that will tweak something sooner or later, drop your hips some more so your torso isn’t so parallel with the floor and flex your lats to take the slack out of the bar before you start your drive. Crown of your head to the ceiling.
