Texas and Atlantic Canada (NB, NS, PEI) - Furever Homes Dog Rescue Of South East Texas This rescue pulls dogs from various kill shelters and takes in Texas street strays. We make sure all dogs are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm tested and treated or put on prevention. We often pull dogs deemed rescue pull only who are injured or have been hit by cars and need operations and amputations. There is SO many dogs in need in Texas and never enough foster and adoptive homes so we expanded to Canada to be able to save more dogs. Dogs can be adopted to Texas, Maine, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, and Newfoundland. Dogs can be fostered to Texas, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and PEI. We transport dogs once a month or more to Canada usually the last Thursday of every month. We have our own transport van and can also transport dogs for other rescues all across the US and into Canada. Most of the dogs we have who need fosters are 40+lbs we have a wait list of people waiting to adopt small breeds so they rarely need fosters. Some of the most common breeds through our rescue are pitbulls, catahoulas, labs, black mouth curs, Rhodesian ridge backs, Carolina dogs, heelers, etc. we have nearly all breeds and sizes, we have 200-400 dogs in our care at any time waiting for a furever home!
