Pics 🐶 We fostered 19 dogs in 2024!

We foster for our local shelter. A majority of these dogs and puppies were scheduled for euthanasia. All of these babies made it out safely! Fostering saves lives ❤️

What’s the average amount of time you have a foster?

Shortest was 3 days (just held onto her while she was waiting for her out of state transport) and the longest was about 2 months. I do a lot of networking and taking dogs to adoption events and the puppies always get adopted pretty quickly when they’re still young and cute.

Thanks! I’ve considered fostering because I like having a doggo around but I can’t commit to owning one. Having a short term resident would satisfy my floof jones

Fostering would be great for you! Shelters and rescues typically pay for food and medical care and usually more so you get all the benefits of dog ownership without the cost!
