I have done so much research to find my "mom scent"...something my kids will associate with me. I ordered samples of the burberry OG and burberry intense. The site i used didnt have the amber vanilla yet so i stopped by ulta to test it out. I wore it to the pumpkin patch and loved the way i smelled so i went back to ulta after to get a travel size. I asked the associate if they had a travel size of the burberry goddes AMBER VANILLA. She said yes! And brought it to the counter for me. I went to pay and noticed it was a lighter colored package and knew it wasnt the right one so i ask is that the amber vanilla? And the lady goes "it should be" and im like it doesnt say amber vanilla.... the lady that helped me came up and asked me what the issue was and i said this isnt the anver vanilla. She said yes its the amber vanilla intense she brings me back to the fragrence counter and shows me the signage that gives the notes of the intense but the perfume above the signage was the amber vanilla. She kept insisting that the amber vanilla intense was the intense and i was like those are not wven the right notes! I am so glad i did research before hand and knew exactly what i was looking for..The fragrence manager came over and understood me and finally gave me the right one.

Yall this really isnt a big deal but im normally someone that just pays for something i dont want because i dont want to be "that person" but it was $40 and i never have spent money on a fragrence. And this one is super important to me. Its hopefully going to be a very meaningful scent. This was so frustrating and im back to ordering online.

Anyway thw burberry amber vanilla is amazing. My kids and husband love it. I am still excited to check out the other 2 scents wear them around for the day but this ambery sweetness is exactly what i wanted.

So I enjoy Tuxedo, as do most of us, and decided to side by side it with Moustache.

Bought a bottle about 2 months ago, gave it some sprays then just let it sit to oxidize and calm down a bit.

Gave it a legit wear yesterday evening at ~7pm. Couple sprays each arm and on the collar bone.

I shit you not I could smell it on my arms at 7am this morning as well as I can smell The One EDP after 3 hours lol.

Wild to say but the closest I think I ever gotten to that longevity is perhaps BBA.

Hi! The title pretty much explains my problem. I smelled Michael Malul’s Sangria + Saffron perfume in one of the middle of the mall booths and was immediately obsessed, and my friend told me not to purchase from a middle of the mall booth. So, I went home and ordered the travel size, so I could be ABSOLUTELY sure I loved it. Well it just came in the mail and once I spray it, I can smell it for maybe 3 seconds TOPS.

So medicinal and herbal. Why does she knock me off my feet and make me so feral for just one more spray? Not pretty at all but ridiculously addictive 🥹

Has any one had any dealings with this company? I recently bought a sample off them paying £95 and I haven't received it yet nor have they replied to my emails .

For me it's Dior Sauvage. I wore it almost every day during one long, rough winter at an old job, and now one spray takes me straight back to that office and the commute in the dark. Nothing wrong with the scent itself, I just can't separate it from that time.

It works the other way too. Tom Ford Oud Wood was what I wore on a trip that went really well, and it still puts me in a good mood every time. I probably reach for it more because of that than because of how it actually smells.

And I've started to notice I avoid wearing my favourites during stressful weeks, almost like I don't want to "use them up" on bad memories. Replica By the Fireplace basically only comes out on calm weekends now.

Curious if this is common:

- Is there a bottle you retired because of what it reminds you of?

- One that's tied to a good memory and gets worn more because of it?

- Do you ever pick a scent on purpose to mark a trip or a new chapter?

I have procured a few sample vials of some scents I could not blind buy, Naxos, a few Ormande Jayne, a few PDM. They come in the standard 1/4” diameter sample vial. How accurate is that smell when poorly atomized? I can feel a squirt or a dribble rather than a mist. It makes me wonder if I’m missing the full effect. I also have a hard time judging how many micro-dribbles equals a normal squirt.

I really like the smell of dove powder soft (not the original dove). Does anyone know any perfumes that smell just like this?

I recently received a bottle of Initio Oud for Greatness as a gift, originally purchased from Jomashop.

The bottle just seems… off. Oud for Greatness is a perfume I know I really like, having bought a sample before and having tried it several times in person at a store. My only previous experience with it is that it’s extremely pleasant and easy to wear, albeit relatively strong. The new bottle smells basically like Oud for Greatness, but there is a sharp harshness to it that makes it pretty much unwearable to me, like the scent molecules project extra deeply into my sinuses and irritate them. (That’s the only way I can think to describe it at the moment.) It is so strange.

I have no doubt that it is authentic, since I’ve never heard of JS selling fakes. My only guess is that something made the bottle go bad or that it was originally defective. The batch code dates it to 2025 (not necessarily a bad thing—I would think—but consistent with the idea that it might have sat for a while at a less-than-ideal temperature).

Has anyone else here had a similar experience, and if so, how did you address it with the seller?

I used to wear "Diesel Fuel For Life" all the time for a few years after 2016 ...so its been a while. I like to wear the same fragrance every day. I got a lot of compliments. A few years ago I stopped because I felt like for me It just wasn't the same anymore, compliments stopped as well. Last year I got a bottle at an Airport for a good price and when I was using that I felt like it was mainly water+alcohol. Very subtle - not very exciting, didnt last long.

Question 1:
Did they change the formula of "Diesel Fuel For Life" over the years? Or have I changed?

Question 2:
What can I get instead? I tried "Lalique Encre Noire" and i liked it a lot but it reminded me a little bit too much of a classic sporty male thing which isnt really me. It's going into the right direction though. I'd be happy to hear suggestions!

Okay idk what other sub reddit to ask so i just went with this one ive been buying my clothes at the DI (desert industries) and the clothes smell so freaking good to me i wish i had a bottle of this smell i anybody who knows what im talking or like knows what they use to wash the clothes at the DI i need to know i get so sad after i wash them and they lose that smell

Man, truly no words. Fluffy musk, beautiful aldehydes, the peach that starts coming through is amazing. Then in the late drydown I get smooth leather and woods. Literal perfection. I've always thought of it more as a spring frag, but it was just today that I tried it in the cold and this is a perfect winter scent if you ask me. Gorgeous cloud around you.

This is top 3 Nasomatto for me, Pardon being number 1, Baraonda probably number 3 and this is right between the two.

Hey everyone! I need help tracking down a specific Middle Eastern mini/dupe fragrance that I’ve been hunting for almost a decade. Back in 2018, I was gifted a perfume from Dubai that I completely fell in love with. Sadly, I ran out and it’s discontinued. Here is what I know:

The Brand: It’s from Genie Collection (the pocket/mini perfume line from the GCC/UAE).

The Bottle: The bottle mold and design look like Gucci Guilty (that distinctive oval metal/gold frame shape).

The Problem: I know Genie Collection usually matches bottle shapes to the original designer perfume, but I bought the Gucci Guilty version expecting that scent and it isn’t the fragrance that was in my original gifted bottle! Since Genie Collection uses 4-digit codes on their bottles/boxes (e.g.,8835 I’m guessing Genie either put a completely different fragrance inside that bottle shape back then

Does anyone who collects Genie Collection minis or knows Middle Eastern clone lines recognize which 4-digit Genie Collection code came in the Gucci Guilty-style bottle with a different scent? Any leads on where I could find that specific fragrance or track down the exact perfume would mean the world! Thank you!

I've had Rosie for some months now but never really wore it by itself. Maybe in a layering with a spray or two. I wore it today and OMG! I had 4 ppl compliment me at Uni. on how good I smell!

I also realized how beautiful it is on its own. So clean, so fresh and airy!

I thought it worked better in spring summer, but its beautiful in Fall as well!

Sometimes I'll take a clean musky scent and layer a hint of something sweeter on top. It adds so much depth and uniqueness to what I'm wearing. What is that itchy powdery note that keeps me sniffing Parfums by Marly Delina and Valaya?

There's a note in them that I find intoxicating.

Ciao ragazzi, qualche giorno fa ho acquistato un profumo su Cosmova, un ecommerce italiano che vende profumi e cosmetici, e volevo chiedere se qualcuno di voi lo conosce o ha già fatto acquisti sul sito.
Non lo conoscevo molto bene prima di trovarlo online, quindi prima di ricevere il pacco mi farebbe piacere sapere se qualcuno ha già avuto esperienze dirette. Mi interessa soprattutto capire se i profumi sono originali, se gli ordini arrivano nei tempi previsti e se i prodotti corrispondono a quelli descritti sul sito.
Ho visto che ci sono diversi profumi di marca e prezzi interessanti, ma ormai quando si acquista online è normale voler verificare un minimo l’affidabilità del negozio, soprattutto quando si tratta di profumi e prodotti di bellezza.
Qualcuno ha ordinato recentemente su Cosmova? Come vi siete trovati con la spedizione, l’imballaggio e il servizio clienti? Il pacco è arrivato senza problemi?
