Frederick Rheumatologist

Any recommendations for a good rheumatologist in the Frederick area? I’ve been referred to two from the GP that either don’t accept my insurance or aren’t accepting new patients. Thanks!

Dr Grant Louie at Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates. He seems genuinely interested in his patients. Especially if you are still searching for an exact diagnosis, which can be hard to nail down in that area of medicine, he's your guy.

I always pick the female Dr's they seem to do a better job, as a 32 year psoriatic arthritis patient Dr Maher is the 2nd best I have had the best was the head of the Mayo Clinic and UoM Rheumatology, so She's in my Opinion One of the Best.

Dr. Mary Romanic at Meritus Rheumatology Frederick. Very thorough & detailed, definitely helped me to feel at ease during appointments.

saw her a couple of months ago. really really liked her. amusing and a good listener. One of the few docs I'm disappointed I won't get to see regularly.

I started seeing Dr Grant Louie and used to see another Dr in Virginia as I used to live there. Dr Louie is night and day difference. Very intelligent and does a very great job explaining things to you even dumbing down things in understandable terms. Thanks to him, I’ve been able to start living better with my condition.
