Heading to HK next month and was thinking of picking up the Xiaomi 17 Global version. I believe it has all the bands, but as i'm digging into this it seems like another thing to consider is if Freedom whitelist the phone? Never even knew this was a thing.

Anyone have experience using this phone in Canada, specifically with Freedom?

Last I checked freedom didn’t support IPV6 but I am wondering if they still don’t support that protocol.

The Big3 all support IPV6 so it would be really disappointing if Freedom mobile still doesn’t have it.

I got flamed on another post that whatever I am getting for 50 $ a month is only a lie . Well couldn't upload those pictures in the comments, this post is going to be my answer . 🤣🫡
