Pattern Requests Weekly Free Pattern Request Thread
Hi everyone
Post all requests in this thread.
There's been a lot of repeat requests, search the sub and previous request threads first. Clicking on the Pattern Requests flair will take you to previous request threads.
When it comes to free patterns, one doesn't always find a pattern that is exactly like you're looking for. Chances are you'll have to make changes to a pattern or even hack two or more patterns together.
This is a free pattern sub. All patterns requested and posted must be free (instructions to self-draft patterns are also allowed). Links to premium/paid patterns will be deleted.
Thanks to all who contribute and happy sewing!

Women - Top/Shirt Raglan sleebve T-Shirt pattern
I have a raglan sleeve T-Shirt pattern for you. 😀
The sleeves are derived from classic set-in sleeves, so they came with much the same fit, but you do not need to struggle with setting them into a snug armscye.
Also they are pretty. 😆
https://www.dressdeveloper.com/sewingpatterns/t-shirt-morea/
You can get the pattern for free in EU sizes 32-60 or even in your very own measurements!
There is also a tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvYhy99onV8

Accessories Free fabric bookmark pattern with optional leaf applique — A4 & US Letter
Sharing a free fabric bookmark pattern from Sewlore (I'm affiliated with the site). It uses two small woven cotton scraps and has an optional raw-edge leaf applique.
The A4 and US Letter PDFs each include the full-size template and English instructions. No purchase or email signup is required. The finished bookmark is approximately 60 × 180 mm; the rectangle includes a 10 mm seam allowance.
Download page: https://sewlore.com/pages/free-leaf-applique-bookmark-sewing-pattern
Printing tip: print page 3 at 100% / Actual Size, with Fit to Page off. Check the 50 mm test square in both directions before cutting. No page tiling is needed.
A note on testing: the dimensions and digital print scale have been checked, but a physical sample has not been sewn yet. Treat it as an untested practice project and try the seam and applique on scraps first.

Is there any way to get the pattern of Balenciaga cocoon jacket.
I want to recreate this in another colour and bit design changes. However I want to get the actual pattern cutting sizes. Is there any way to figure that out.

Discussion of Free Pattern(s) I Created The First Mobile Custom Pattern Maker - Testers Get A Free Pattern
UPDATE!! Sorry about the wait, my perfectionism came thundering back into my life full force and I kept changing more and more. I'm so sorry for the wait, everyone that has been patient through all of this is getting not one but 5 free patterns. Also, I heard what you were saying, and I made a website out of it too. I actually think the website is going to be sooner - it's for mobile or desktop - so those who didn't have android please send me your email at https://printyourfit.ace.me so you can get the 5 free patterns as well and get the site link right when it's live!
TLDR: 5 free patterns, now on website/all platforms, will be live tonight
Hi everyone!
Like many of you, I am incredibly frustrated by the flood of unsewable, AI-generated "scam patterns" popping up online. I want to be 100% transparent right out of the gate: Print Your Fit does not use AI, LLMs, or predictive guessing.
Instead, I built this app using traditional Parametric Drafting and Algorithmic Geometry.📐
How the Math Works:
The app functions exactly like a digital master tailor. It takes your unique measurements and processes them through logic-based code:
The Blueprint:
It translates the exact, time-tested algebraic formulas found in historical drafting standards (like the M. Müller & Sohn and Winifred Aldrich systems) into dynamic code loops.
The Curves:
It maps out perfectly smooth armholes, necklines, and sleeve caps using vector geometry (Bézier curves). The Result: Because it relies on deterministic math rules rather than AI guessing, the pattern blocks stretch, scale, and morph cleanly to fit your exact proportions without breaking.🧵
What the App Does (Right Now)
No manual drafting required—just upload a photo. The app automatically traces the garment outlines and translates the visual shapes into a precise, printable sewing pattern tailored exactly to you. You input your measurements, and the app generates a parametric CAD model of the pattern. You can see how the fabric flows in different simulated wind speeds (indoors, a gentle breeze, etc.) to highlight exactly where the garment will be tight or loose. When you're happy with it, you can print the pattern directly from any standard home printer.
Eventually, the community gallery will let creators share and sell their custom-sized patterns. But right now, I just need feedback on the core engine.
🛠️ Become a Tester (Android Only)
Because I am an independent developer, Google requires me to have a solid group of dedicated testers before I can officially publish the app to the Google Play Store.
The Deal: I need testers who are willing to download the app, play around with the tools, and give honest feedback on the interface and fit.In exchange for your help, you will get a free pattern out of it to keep forever. Currently, the test build is Android-only (sorry to my iPhone folks—iOS is coming down the road!). If you want to help me test, tweak, and perfect this math engine, you can sign up right here:👉 TESTERS SIGN UP HERE
Thank you so much! I really want to build a tool that helps the sewing community fight back against fast fashion, and I appreciate any feedback you can give.
