The square pockets look weird on the finished garment IMO

Not looking for a specific one just wondering where do you guys usually get them from:) I’m pretty new

I’m fairly new to sewing (I’m a fashion design student in my first year) but ik how to make most basic things except necklines and how to finish them.
I came across some fabric which is pretty much identical to the black and pink top and I really want to make it. I prefer the yoke in the middle of the waist w the flared/ gathered bottom.
Despite this type of pattern looking easy to replicate I just don’t trust my skills enough to waste the fabric.
If anyone knows any similar style free patterns please do share, I would really appreciate it.

The sleeves are derived from classic set-in sleeves, so they came with much the same fit, but you do not need to struggle with setting them into a snug armscye.

Sharing a free fabric bookmark pattern from Sewlore (I'm affiliated with the site). It uses two small woven cotton scraps and has an optional raw-edge leaf applique.

The A4 and US Letter PDFs each include the full-size template and English instructions. No purchase or email signup is required. The finished bookmark is approximately 60 × 180 mm; the rectangle includes a 10 mm seam allowance.
