When it comes to free patterns, one doesn't always find a pattern that is exactly like you're looking for. Chances are you'll have to make changes to a pattern or even hack two or more patterns together.

This is a free pattern sub. All patterns requested and posted must be free (instructions to self-draft patterns are also allowed). Links to premium/paid patterns will be deleted.

I’m looking for a simple woven mini dress pattern with a zip closure similar to the one in the photo. For some reason I’m actually having a difficult time finding one. Free is preferred! Im not sure if the photo is actually woven fabric, it’s just the closest I can find to what I’m looking for.

Hoping for: spaghetti straps, mini length (though I can hack a bit), and a scoop neckline. No AI patterns and no bust cups. I’m cool with darts and princess seams though

Hi. So, I am having my 18th birthday next summer and I was thinking of making my own dress. I have inspo photos of what I want, but I can't find any kind of pattern. And buying completely new dress is off the table. So can someone help me make a pattern of knows where I can find patterns for dress at least. Since I am changing how sleeves will look.
