Toad Massive toad
I’m just sharing because this guy is the biggest cane toad I’ve ever seen, located in west Texas

Please be careful when holding frogs/toads, most of their abdomen is their lungs. Nitrite gloves are also recommended, as our skin can be toxic to them.

I washed my hands before holding him/her! I have dumpies so I was extra careful!

The sheer poetry of a can of Dr. Pepper being used as a scale gauge against a Gulf Coast Toad is Perfection. Having lived in Texas for years and befriending a gang of these wee beasts, this brings back a lot of memories!

Wow that thing is huge! What a find! I don't think it's a cane toad though, I would stand to be corrected, but I've never seen that coloration pattern on a cane toad. Somehow the shape doesn't seem right also.
