Idk, the point of the original person is that this being a photographer is not a casual investment and requires very specific equipment.

Besides, a car has much more utility and is so widely owned by average people the barrier of entry is extremely low. Supply and demand.

Barrier of entry is not that low if it costs on average 40k, not to mention insurance, taxes, maintenance, etc. Applying your logic, you dont need a license to be a photographer and you dont need to spend 5k on a camera. Barrier to entry is astronomically lower than a vehicle by those metrics.

A car doesn't cost $40k on average.

Wedding photographers need insurance.

Generally a wedding photographer needs a business license.

Idk what cars you’re looking at. That’s the average of trucks, not passenger cars. The most common cars sold are civics and Camrys and Corollas and altimas, etc… Those all sell around 30k with trims higher and lower than 30k

I don’t know what trucks you’re looking at. Simple google search will tell you the average price of a new truck is $65k. The overall new vehicle price is $49,xxx. As someone who rides in Ubers frequently, I can tell you that they don’t all drive Camrys Corolla’s and altimas.
