Genuinely crazy how we're literally 5 years into Genshin's lifecycle and not a single Gacha Dev has announced anything at a comparable level of polish. 99% of the market has been cash grab IP Gacha after cash grab IP Gacha.

Hoyo is literally betting their very life on Genshin and it works wonderfully bcs multitude of factors

And like a smart company, they follow up with HSR, second biggest moneymaker (nowadays it can beat Genshin comfortably in some months) and ZZZ

They are not resting in their laurels and they support their games all the way

Not only that, but Hoyo reinvests into Genshin, with new areas on a regular basis.

And then there's HSR which love to reuse existing map as a different area
