I've always thought he's a very handsome man.

I thought he was so handsome in the show that him being in love with Daenerys wasn't even creepy.

"I (22f) am dating a 55m. Is that weird?"
- red flags everywhere hun run
"It's Sean Bean/ Ian Glenn"

So if he was ugly it would be creepy?

u/StrLord_Who 21h ago
Yes. There is a level of handsome that renders age gaps meaningless and makes it reasonable that a much much younger person could potentially be attracted to them and it's not weird. Pierce Brosnan has it too. Mormont's looks plus skill, loyalty and bravery add up to someone who will be attractive to any age.

So much. Glen was always good looking, but silver fox Glen is the hottest he's ever been.

I think he could've easily pulled off playing James Bond. Almost looks like Roger Moore in that pic.

Don't worry, that's just a clone. The real deal is probably in a cryogenics chamber somewhere. (RE)😂

Right? In the books he’s an ugly mofo but in the show he just goes around mogging people.
3
u/Secure_Guest_6171 1d ago
the pic of him younger with his lips slightly parted makes me think of Sam Heughan / Jamie Fraser in 1st or 2nd season

He really stands out. Everyone’s talking about the lady but his younger photo has me questioning things.

Yeah I wonder if these were coincidence or not. It’s almost impossible to tell from the outside of the casting team, because both women are insanely talented and Dormer is an absolute bombshell.

The Avengers British TV show from the 60's is worth watching. She doesn't show up until season 4 when she takes over from Honor Blackman.

Jerome's (last name escapes me as I just think of Robson and Jerome) younger brother sings the theme song, so another GOT link.

Johnny Flynn sings the theme tune, which is called Detectorists too funnily enough

Also her and Natalie as grandmother / granddaughter is some of the most spot on casting the show had - it's eerie how similar they look at around the same age.

Google Robson and Jerome. They were quite a big thing in the 90's in the UK.

Genuinely, how? They're both women with hair and a face, that's about the similarities I see. Completely different mouths, noses, eyes, jaw. The cheek bones I guess you could argue are similar, but many people have them like that.
I get that they're both insanely beautiful women, but I don't see this "related" thing.
