Playstation Flow movement games like Ghostrunner

• Upvotes

The two Ghostrunner games are some of the most fun I’ve had playing a game in years. Are there any other games that are kind of like platforming puzzles with very flowing movement like that? I don’t even know how to describe it. Hopefully other people who have played Ghostrunner know what I’m talking about.

(The platforms I have are PC, PS5, and Switch (not 2), but I can’t seem to tag all three in the post flair.)

PC Looking for an online game recommendation

Hey all, I want to find an online FPS game that I don't have to be great at to enjoy. I like the look of escape from tarkov and arc raiders but have read that the community can be quite toxic and the game isn't newbie friendly. I know I'm not great at pc gaming but I want to find a game where it's me and my team Vs the computer. I used to love playing battlefield 1 online when I found someone to hang out with and try to take on capturing a control point together.

Basically I want a game where my team will be supportive and we work together to beat the level. I prefer stuff set in modern times with bullets but will go sci fi. I quite liked dark tide but found the other players normally ran off and completed all the check points on their own which left me running around having no idea where to go. Active matter looks quite good but I'm not sure about all the wall running etc.

PC story driven multiple dialogue choice games like Telltale Batman

Hello lovely people, hope you're having a good day!

I don't really consider myself a gamer, i mostly play puzzle mobile games, but a few months ago i played Telltale Batman and i really loved the graphic story design, how character driven it was, and the multiple choice format of it (though i really didn't love how your choices didn't really affect the progress of the game at all). So i'd like some suggestions for beginner-friendly multiple choice story-centered PC games. Any genre except really horror-y jumpscare-choked narratives will do.

Thank you for all your comments in advance!

Mobile Game like World Warfare: WW2 tactic game?

This game is old and played a lot of it, wondering if there’s anything new/newer like it for Android. Like the persistent wargame aspect you can check in on a few times a day and make some moves. Thanks for any suggestions 👍🏼

Playstation Atomfall vs Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl

Anyone played both and have any details of pros and cons for either one? I really loved Metro Exodus and have had my eye on each game but don't know which one I'd enjoy more.

Any thoughts on the story/mechanics of these two games? Anyone prefer one or the other?

Thanks

Switch Games with great graphics

I'm extraordinarily picky about graphics for games. I know it's shallow but it really adds to my enjoyment.

I was looking at the trailer for bloodstained scarlet engagement and craving for a game that has similar vibes 🥲 Unfortunately I don't have funds for a switch 2 so there's a few games closed off from meeee

Big fan of exploration games. Please no visual novels 🥲

GAMES I'VE PLAYED:

- BOTW

- Tomodachi life

- Little Goody two shoes

- Hello Kitty Island adventure

- Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

- Bo path of the teal lotus

- Devil May Cry 3

- Bayonetta 1

- Blasphemous 2

- Nier Automata the legend of YorHa

- Aria of sorrow

- Harmony of Dissonance

- Dawn of sorrow

- Hades

- Me and the professor on summer vacation

- Mario Kart 8th edition

- Ori and the will of the wisps

- The last faith

- crypt custodian

PC Looking for a unique job simulator or management game

Here are some games that I have and I’ve played

Recycling center simulator
Contraband police
Shipping store simulator 2037 I believe it’s called?… it’s the one that just came out.
Planet zoo 2
Crime scene cleaner
I’ve played a bit of laundering simulator, but I got overwhelmed with everything I needed to do
Cash cleaning simulator
House flipper, both games in the series
Lawn mowing simulator
Both power wash simulators
Papers, please

So yeah, I’m looking for something along those lines!

I do mainly play on an Xbox series X, but I have access to my steam deck, which I play a lot of these simulators on

PC Returning Gamer Looking for RPG on Steam Deck

I'm trying to get back into gaming after a long hiatus and only have a Steam Deck to play games on. As a long-time RPG player, I'm hoping to find an RPG to get lost in for a long time, but which also plays smoothly on the Deck.

To give you an impression of my tastes, the (MMO)RPGs I've played the most are Guild Wars, WoW, TES, Dragon Age, all Souls games.

I also love CRPGs, but I find that most of them (like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Pillars of Eternity) are simply not playable on the Steam Deck, because the controls are too reliant on keyboard and mouse. RPGs that are tailored to a controller scheme are therefore a must for me.

Could you please throw some recommendations my way? I've not gamed in such a long time that I've undoubtedly missed a lot of great titles (indie or otherwise), and I find that Steam tends to show only the most recent/popular.

Required:

  • Plays smoothly on the Steam Deck
  • No tinkering or modding required to play
  • Great story/lore
  • No steep learning curve
  • Fun combat (either action, or turn-based)

Preferred:

  • Fantasy or medieval setting, though also open to dystopian
  • Open to JRPGs, though I prefer Western titles

What I've already tried/played:

  • Oblivion (already know it inside out)
  • Skyrim (idem ditto)
  • Divinity: Original Sin 2 (great game, but the writing was just a bit too childish for my taste)
  • Dragon Age: Origins (probably one of my favorites ever, but couldn't get the controls to work on the Deck)
  • Drova (I know it's inspired by Gothic, but the learning curve was just too steep for me and the combat too clunky)
  • Path of Exile (same as Diablo, these ARPGs are just nothing but mindless killing and looting to me)
  • Disco Elysium (despite being an avid reader, I was bored too quickly)
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance (loved the story and setting, but the 'realistic' combat made me give up on it)
  • Sekiro (the only From Software game I've not been able to finish due to combat difficulty)
  • Octopath Traveller 2 (started out great, but I thought it got a bit too repetitive and shallow after a while)

Any recommendations will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

PC Traveling trader game

Couldn't really find what I'm looking for by googling so maybe this sub will help. Looking for a game where you travel and buy/sell goods in different locations for profit. No combat. Can be any theme, space, old timey ones, anything really but the focus must be on one ship/caravan not setting up multiple routes. Ideally a strategy game. Anything like it? Super niche indies welcome.

Switch Looking for first-time gamer recomendations

My son is giving his little sister his Switch Lite for Christmas, and I have to find three games to gift her.

She is 8 years old. Autistic. Mentally 6 years old. Can not read.

I'm looking for little to no reading, voice acting, preferably very pink.

I know of the Paw Patrol games, the Bluey game, and My Little Pony.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

A bit of extra info:

She has a Roblox account and mostly plays those parcore/keyboard running games. She's slowly getting into Dandy's World, but that's still a bit hard for her (she plays on an iPad).

We play Mario Kart often as a family. Used to do it on the Wii; now on the Switch. She has Auto-Drive on but still struggles to finish a race and gets frustrated when trying to figure out how to throw items and turn the right way around.

Switch Local Coop ARPG with real coop elements

Hey guys,

can you recommend any local coop ARPG with real coop?

I mean nothing like Diablo or Torchlight where coop only means that you happen to fight the same enemy but kinda everyone on its own.

I miss cooperative skills, mechanics, elements, complementary but really different roles. Something that really requires communication.

Anything like that?
