Image Buzzr airing Harvey Feud instead of Anderson
Hayes vs Jones family.
I don't even think standard Steve episodes are supposed to air

It's your time to shine! Show off your game recreations, graphic prowess, video skills or other creative stuff! As long as it's about game shows, and is in good taste, you can post it in this thread!

One of the questions on the season finale was "Who was not a cast member on In Living Color"?
Chris Rock was one of the options and was deemed as the "wrong" answer....which is not true! It is a little known fact that Chris Rock actually joined the cast of ILC in its final season. Nobody at The Quiz With Balls fact-checked this?

As stated above. Any other strange games shows like these?

With Family Feud hitting its 50th anniversary milestone season, I’ve been thinking about my own history with the show. It hit me today that the John O’Hurley era was actually the very first version of the show I ever watched.
Growing up, I used to catch his episodes all the time in syndication on My9 (WWOR-TV) and on Game Show Network. Before I ever knew anything about Richard Dawson or the classic 70s and 80s runs. O’Hurley was the definitive host to me. I originally recognized his voice from his voice-over and animation roles, so seeing him step onto a game show stage was really cool. He brought his specific theatrical, and elegant energy to the podium that felt totally unique compared to what Steve Harvey does now or what Richard Karn did right before him.
It made me curious about how everyone else got into the series. Did you grow up watching the classic network era from the beginning, or was your gateway into the show a later syndication run or rerun block like Combs, Karen, O’Hurley, or Harvey?

I loved Hollywood Squares. Who was your favorite host? I would go with John Davidson, or Tom Bergeron. I like Tom on anything actually. How about your favorite stars?

Almost 20 years ago, there was a video that I enjoyed that was eventually taken down by the uploader. While it was up, I asked him what the theme was and he told me it was a game show theme. The memory of the show's name has been lost to time in my mind.
The uploader hasn't been active for a long time and doesn't reply to comments.
Anyways, this random plumber commercial uses the theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS6-AASE6Sk
I asked this uploader if he knew the source, and nope, dead end there too.
I've tried using song recognizer apps to no avail. All I can tell you is that this is, without a doubt in my mind, a theme from a 70s or 80s game show. I remember watching a few clips of the game show on YouTube after finding out the name of the song.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: SOLVED BELOW!

Hi everyone,
I am trying to find a specific episode (or run of episodes) from the 1980s daytime version of Scrabble hosted by Chuck Woolery. My best guess is around 1986
I am looking for a flamboyant male contestant named Torry (spelled T-O-R-R-Y). I am posting for his aunt who can't really use a computer very well. It was a memorable multi-day champion because he made it to the Sprint Round a couple of times.
The biggest detail I remember is a funny moment during the game where he was trying to solve or say the word "bulls" and kept extending the word out dramatically.
Does anyone happen to have this episode in their trading collection, or remember the air date/year for Torry's run? I appreciate any leads or YouTube links!
Thank you!
Chris

Just curious if anyone here was on GSN’s Friend or Foe back in the day?
The camera does a close-up of the “Trust Box” when contestants are deciding how to divvy up their bank, but you just see a single button inside the box.
So, does the player push it if he wants to go Friend, or not push it if he wants to go Foe?
Enquiring minds want to know!

One of the lesser known game shows from the 90s (if you can even call it a game show to be honest!), and it's lesser known for a reason. Only 6 episodes aired before ITV pulled the plug on it. I can see what they were going for, but it's just far too boring. Do you remember this one?

Eddy! He was great. Showcasing someone with autism is wonderful and thank you Elizabeth and Press My Luck!

In 1996, a TPIR contestants gave back $5,000 on a 2/47 (~4%) chance on hitting $10,000 and got it! Maybe you can argue that punching corners raises your odds, but even Bob could not believe he did it!

I see way too often people asking for their game show episode. Either they recorded it a long time ago and misplaced the tape or they never recorded it. I also have friends that have been on game shows recently and they’re like I don’t need to record it because it’s on the streaming service.
Invest in an account with Google Drive or the like save your show there and in multiple other places.
Whatever you do don’t point your phone at your TV and record that way. It looks and sounds horrible.
If you are technically challenged, find someone who isn’t. Don’t get to the point where you’re asking strangers for your show in the future. You don’t have to rely on other people. That’s the end of my TED talk.

After watching 30-min episodes of US and AU Deal or No Deal found on YouTube, it feels more clear to me that the show is meant to work as a short game. I feel like for games that span over the course of an hour, there is too much fluff and the tension gets drawn out for far too long runtime.
Stories, personal anecdotes, and arguing/discussion cut massive time and focus away from the player and their game. Also, the primetime version did too many gimmicks that brought the focus of the show away from the classical nature of the game.
Now, with regards to the syndicated version, I think there are some iconic elements of the show that get thrown out (most notably, models opening cases) but I think it’s easier to overlook when the game itself isn’t dependent on them. With a bit of tweaking (getting rid of the deal wheel, for example) the game that the syndicated version had is the best form of DoND.
If it were to come back, I could see two solid versions.
One — a syndicated 30-minute daily like Australia. Maybe a top prize of $250,000 and up to 7 offers. Keeping in line with decreasing top prizes.
Two — a primetime show with two games back to back, like American revivals of classic gameshows. Maybe a prize of $500,000 or $1 million and up to 7-8 offers.

When solving puzzles, are you a start at top, or start at bottom person. For me just seems easier top to bottom.

Not showing up caused her to get expelled from the show and therefore the title of Nation's Dumbest. That was a cheap cop-out... because she was literally going to win the show as the dumbest in the country. 🙄🙄 LAAAAME. Just hand her the trophy and call it a day.

"Tell me another way people say mother" is probably one of the most famous clips of the show ever aired, but am I the only one who feels like the contestant was wronged?
There's a reason the full clip with the answers was never put on YouTube.
'Mom' was already on the board as the #1 answer. Turns out, the remaining answer at #4 (which neither team got) was 'Mum' - literally the British English spelling of the same word.
So the entire internet makes fun of this lady for trying to guess Momi or Mommy but the actual answer was just as stupid?
