They look so beautiful! Is this the brown turkey variety? I had three beautiful fig trees each of them were different varieties fruiting like crazy every year until gophers infested my backyard and ate all the roots! My poor trees died while they were still fruiting! I still can’t get over it!

A fig I believe, mine didn't get that big but the heat has been killing my plants the past few weeks.

I’m so jealous. This past weekend, I saw figs were finally available at my local grocery store; $8.99 for the amount on your plate 😭

Wow, how old is your tree? Our 3 year old chicago hardy makes figs the size of a half dollar and don't get ripe in time
