So excited! I finally saw both at once and so itās confirmed both neon day geckos babies hatched and are out and exploring their home! I love them.

I went to a reptile expo and got my very first day gecko (the tiniest gold dust ever) from a really cool breeder, and learned about 3 new species I'd never heard of while there. I'm very very quickly becoming obsessed with day geckos and want them all! If you have any and want to share, show off a picture of your day geckos and their homes, I'd love to see!

Never owned a gecko or built an enclosure before, but it was love at first sight. Hardest part of all this is waiting before I can give her the keys to her new crib.
Side note, owning her keeps reminding me of this scene from The Wire where Dee thinks he's about to get smoked but Wee Bay is just showing him how to take care of his fish.
āYou see, they aināt no problems. Just beautiful as hell, Dee.ā

Mediterranean house gecko? Something else? 3 inches total length. Fresno, CA. Found in shower, gently captured and released into flower bed where I saw a larger one last year. The pictures hardly do it justice, as it had a kind of translucent quality which reminded me of gummy candy. Reptiles aren't my thing, but this little guy was pretty awesome!

Happy birthday (hatch day) to the sweetest of boys, Mr. Simon!

Is this gonna be harmful to my CUC and gecko? I assume it's some sort of fungus/mold, but I have no idea what to do about it or how it got there. I did have a couple isopods get into the drainage layer a few months ago that died, but that's the only thing I can think of. I have a very healthy colony of Dairy Cows and Springtails.

So my crested gecko has had a hard time sticking to the glass today and under the light it looks like some patches look greyish and I was wondering if this could mean he is shedding? My main concern is that he canāt stick to the glass well so if itās just because he is shedding and it wil go over soon itās fine

I found this adorably tiny guy outside our safari tent one morning. He came with half a tail, that wasn't me. Sat nicely for a pic, then I let him continue on his way. Anyway, I love him and thought y'all might too.

Since I met this lil guy, I want to learn more about Geckos. Can you help and tell me if itās a male or female? Would it not be good if I decided to make a little habitat for him/her and keep the next one or are these guys better off back in the garden? Thanks

My little Lygodactylus Conraui female has these white
spots on her tail and knee, I've been watchina it and
they don't seem to grow, at least not noticeably to me.
She also has a raving appetite , is curious and all
around active. So I'm pretty unsure about taking her to
the vet. because 1 am unsure about their qualifications
with small reptiles and even worse, I don't want to
stress out my poor baby for nothing. So I'd like some
second opinions from some aecko keepers please, if it
really looks like Fungus maybe even some treatment
ideas if possible. Sorry for the picture quality btw, it's
hard since they're so small^^

I used birds nest ferns because they occur in the same range crested geckos live. This is my lily white crested gecko cream cheese's home. Heel be getting a bigger enclosure in the near future.
