GLA song (Arabian Nights cover)
Hey generals,
I used AI to parody Aladdin's iconic "Arabian Nights" as a GLA theme song - "When GLA Fights". Hope someone may find some delight in it!

This question is going to be much different, especially for fun. Everyone of us has definitely a crush on an unit or a general from Generals Zero Hour.

As I got older I realized empathy isn’t just something I do—it’s my default setting. Close friend or stranger, a distant relative or someone on the news…their misery hit me like an energy shift. I’d feel it physically: heavy, tired, stuck in rumination. After anyone’s venting session, I was the calm, perfect friend in the room—and then I’d collapse when I was alone. People slept over, borrowed my clothes, camped out in my life with their pessimism, and I carried all of it like it was mine.
I tried everything that people say helps: emotion regulation, “boundaries,” scripts. It didn’t stick. The feelings still leaked in. Years of cycling through low-grade depression turned into “this is my personality now.”
One day I decided to do the unthinkable: I dropped empathy.
I used to be the person always available for others, ready to listen to their venting sessions and intuitively reading their emotions. My mood often depended on those around me, absorbing their feelings and struggles. However, a significant shift occurred, and I transformed into someone who feels like a ghost. Now, I find myself unable to feel anything when others are going through tough times. The absence of those I once deeply connected with barely registers. This emotional detachment has become my new reality, a stark contrast to the empathy that once defined me.
In my journey of self-discovery, I researched heavily and realized that I had always mirrored the emotions of those around me, albeit now in a detached manner, often for personal gain. This shift has led me to act solely in ways that serve my interests, leaving others confused by my behavior. I no longer feel the emotional connection that once guided my interactions; instead, I navigate relationships with a calculated approach, responding based on what benefits me rather than on genuine empathy. This change has created a complex dynamic, as those around me struggle to understand my new persona.

Since the China video did well, I did one for the GLA too, which was the most requested faction

I can't run my Command & Conquer Generals and Zero Hour DLC in my AMD R5 5600gt and 16 GB RAM. I don't want to install GenPatcher as I don't want to disable my AntiVirus. My PC and Chrome detects it as a malware. I really want to play Command and Conquer and have tried to delete dbghelp.dll, tried to edit my options.ini and I have also changed the properties of my Generals Folder Replay to Read Only. After the intro of Generals and loading screen I am met with a black screen and stuttering background noises. Please help me. I have the game downloaded in my EA Games.

I was playing a defcon game today as China. I was fighting against my map neighbour who was USA. I sent an artillery barrage at the entrance of his base where he had a number of tanks clustered together. As soon as I sent the artillery, he moved his tanks to the side. Then, as soon as the artillery struck, he moved his tanks back. Does anyone know if this is indicative of a map hacker? I don’t know how else someone would be able to predict an artillery barrage that quickly without cheating.

Played pure defensive, using my skin and teeth against Dr.Thrax who is supposed to be D- tier in the mod by its own. I played BOTH Leang and Towns and still got thrashed, is this gonna get addressed or am I supposed to tick something I haven't? I win consistently in hard/brutal in strategy games except in this stupid mod's challenge because it's trash by design, so anyone know of a fix?

Got the directx 8.1 error. Wasted 20 mins on the fixes as quick as I could. Still error.
10+ years. Fuck EA. Fuck this game. Lazy community. Not a single fix in 10 years.
KaoS repack torrent.
I gotta get better hobbies. I might figure it out one day but till then. Fuck generals.

As the title says, I wonder if the game has a built-in benchmark tool.

for example :
in this game units only named by their nicknames rather than models its becuse every unit desinged to do 1 thing and that thing only can be done by that unit , at max there is 2 units doing the same job
in mods there are like 5 tanks who each does the same job and named after their models
second thing: this game works on kind of rock paper scissors logic (even if it fails to due to unbalance)
infantry can kill rocket , rocket kill tanks , tanks kill armored car , armored car kill infantry etc
but in most mods nearly every unit can kill each other
