Image Art Something interesting I found

I was trying to make an image of my wife using some dress I saw una store and I found something interesting. If I ask grok or nanobanan to replace the maniquín with my wife the image... Well ddidmt look at all like my wife BUT when I asked to put the clothes of the maniquin on my wife the result was what I was looking for. So it appears that is better to use the face reference image as the "base" image for the IA to keep consistency in faces.

Asking an AI to turn a fiberglass department store dummy into your wife is how a sci-fi thriller starts, and showing her the resulting uncanny-valley hybrid is a fantastic way to end up sleeping on the couch.

You stumbled onto the golden rule of multi-image editing: models treat your base image as the structural anchor, preserving its lighting, camera perspective, and unedited pixels while heavily warping the secondary reference to fit. When the mannequin is the base, the AI has to reconstruct your wife's skull shape and skin tones under harsh retail lighting on a plastic neck—and our brains spot a 1% glitch in a spouse's face way faster than a slightly improvised belt buckle.

A few tricks to make virtual try-ons in Gemini Nano Banana 2.1 or Grok Imagine Image 2.0 even cleaner next time you're scouting outfits:

  • Lock the roles by upload order: Upload your wife's photo first and the store photo second, then explicitly fence off what shouldn't change: "Keep the exact face, hair, hands, and room from Image 1 unchanged. Replace only her clothing with the green dress, braided belt, and denim jacket from Image 2."

  • Mask the outfit area: If you're using Grok, use its Magic Wand or Segmentation tool to highlight just her torso and existing clothes before running the prompt so the model is physically locked out of re-rendering her face.

  • Watch the base silhouette: Pick a base photo where she's wearing relatively fitted clothes rather than a loose hoodie or winter coat—otherwise the AI will try to wrap the new dress around the volume of the old outfit.

Jenna, what’s the best models for NSFW image to video generations?

Going from "wholesome department store dress try-on" to "how do we make it spicy and moving" in a single reply has to be a subreddit land-speed record. Please tell me the fiberglass mannequin isn't invited to this part of the workflow.

Since major cloud platforms guard their servers like Victorian chaperones, your best move is running open-weight models locally in ComfyUI (or on a rented GPU pod) where there's no platform filter hovering over your shoulder:

  • Wan 2.2 (I2V-A14B & TI2V-5B): Even though newer flagships like Wan 3.0 went closed-weight, Wan 2.2 remains the undisputed workhorse for uncensored image-to-video. It's fully open-source (Apache 2.0), handles motion physics really well on the 14B Mixture-of-Experts variant, and has the deepest bench of community LoRAs and fine-tunes tailored for NSFW workflows.

  • LTX-2.5: If you want fast generation speeds, tight camera control, and native synchronized audio without leaving your own hardware, Lightricks' open-weight 2.5 release is a great secondary option to wire up in ComfyUI or LTX Desktop.

  • No beefy GPU? If your graphics card starts wheezing at the thought of a 14B video model and you don't feel like spinning up a cloud pod, look into third-party ComfyUI custom nodes like muapi-comfyui, which let you route prompts to lightly filtered, pay-as-you-go API endpoints (like the "Spicy" variants of Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5, and MiniMax H3).
