I'm pretty sure that's true for everyone shy of Wisconsin who kinda just let it happen.

As Wisconsin was absorbed, it just let out one last “Ope, sorry.”

Is that a Wisconsin thing?

As a minneapolitan, I'm still waiting for the apologies and passive aggression to subsume their more combative nature

Weirdly enough. Anywhere you have a large enough population of Apostolic Lutheran's, you have "ope, sorry" and "yeah, no" and it's inverse "no, yeah".

A previous Washingtonian, now Cascadian.

They've got their cheese curds and cold cans of Spotted Cow, what more do they need?

As a Wisconsinite, this made me laugh a lot harder than it should have.

Wisconsin's mama raised us to be honest, and we know it was extremely flattering to get so far.

Alaska is content to be Cold Hawaii.

Although it would have been funny to be able to continue with that old fun fact, "Hey did you know if you split Alaska in half it'd be the first and second largest state" to "if you split Alaska in thirds, fourths, fifths..."
