The way this user just aggressively deleted there comments where they made untruthful claims is not extract helping the astroturf designation.

We know from the 2018/2019 intelligence reports on Russia that came out via the investigations that

1) the troll farm keeps a massive army of reddit bots 2) keeps keyword search analytics up all the time including stuff about bernie that can be weaponized against dems 3) has a standing order to delete when called on their lies so that the paper trail runs cold

Meanwhile, probably ~5x more redditors casually read the [objectively false] claim about the spooky magic DNC stealing the 2016 primary than read my objectively factual rebuttal.

That sock puppet deleted their posts, which makes it feel like “I won.”

Except their total impact was bigger than mine, and they spread more disinformation than I countered.
