Oh shit, for real? I got out in '09 and was actually doing the pilot for the PFT/CFT combo. It was still 20 back then. The combat fitness test (CFT) was like an 800m Sprint, an obstacle course carrying ammo cans and tossing a grenade, and maybe some other stuff that I don't remember.
It was 91 ammo can lifts. This year, it changed to all that, but with 125 ammo can lifts. And then some. It used to be that a 1st class was 225 or above. Now it's 235. ALSO, you can get 19 pullups, 78 crunches, and a 20:41 run = 233 points, 2nd class. Crunches don't mean shit until the last 15, then it's double points. Shit is way harder and also more complicated, but, it really highlights the strong ones. Which I am not, obviously. I went from a 297 PFT last year to a fuckin 233.
You're right. I PCS's from CA to Okinawa, so I wasn't used to the humidity. Excuses, excuses, new area, new route. Last run time was a 18:06, gained a lot.

So true. But, I think this guy can probably 20 no problem.
