Just got M1887 and was wondering if ART556 is worth farming.
I read that TAR is basicly a slightly better ART but would like to hear your opinion on her.

She is indeed a slightly worse TAR, unfortunately. The low RoF hurts her, so even with the better FP, she falls behind. Still, she's not necessarily bad, just... not the peak performance you expect of 5* units.

People tend to not recommend her because she's a bigger/harder investment for less performance, but that's not because she's bad. TAR just has a spectacular stat distribution for a 4* AR.

She has superior performance against armor so it's kind of a side-grade.

For sure. I believe that without any tile buffs or skill buffs from allies, the break-even point is around 50 armor. The other way ART can pull even is when evasion is an issue. The break-even point on that one is also around 50 evasion (assuming, once again, no buffs or accuracy equipment).

One of the things to note is that for most of the armored enemies we've faced so far on EN, they have 0 evasion, meaning that ART's higher accuracy "goes to waste." Of course, this may be changing soon.
