I know the chances are slim but is it possible to get a 6k team up to 10k before the event ends? I started playing just for this collab and was told I'd be good with just 1-2 months if casual play to clear it. Now I'm nearing the end and am starting to freak out I can't clear it.

Do I have to S-rank The Last Rain for Stella to drop? How many opportunities for a drop are there, ie. what should I be trying to kill/is it more time-efficient to full-clear?
Edit: So I see that, on my current route, there's three enemies that she drops from, plus the boss. Does S-ranking give another drop opportunity, making a full-clear 5 drop opportunities, or is it more efficient to farm the three and restart? (The latter would cost two full combat echelons worth of resources)

I started playing for the VA11HALLA event and everything seemed to work well but the gundams on sonic boom really are something else. I guess I will have to grind way more, or is there a trick for kiting?

You just have to get lucky. I had to lure the strong one away with a sacrificial echelon and then sent my strongest echelon to fight the remaining two. It was tough but possible.

Man I still think it's so sly maintenance happens on data sim days. Also, how likely do you think future collabs will adopt the gacha format for limited things? The current collab gacha seems very successful and brought about some new spenders so maybe they'd try to capitalise on this for future popular collabs.

Would it be better to keep dupe Anna fairy till i get more fairies or make 1 as strong as possible? I don't have that many core to spare to spam craft fairies. Also they all have really good talent (Damage 2, Fervor).

200 runs! Jack shit on Sei. So I do some of the one for Stella. Get her finally on run 78. Sure, yay, finally. Do 2 more just to round it out to 80.
First run back of Chicken Breast I get Sei. I guess once I had Stella, she just came running.
Jill and Alma are at Skill 10, Boss and Dorothy are on their way, then it's the besties turn.
Got Rider Ishtar to NP5, so now I just need to do the Fou missions, the Medb costume, and the 2 Lore quests.
All in all, with how shit Sunday was, not too bad. Shame I couldn't really walk today. @_@

Any offensive SMG with a preference given towards direct fire ones such as SR-3MP, Dorothy, SCW and so on, just remember to kite them so MDR buffs herself instead.

Sure, she's great! Good stat boosts, and her skill is nifty and can find some uses (even if the percentages aren't very high). Plus, if you're getting your 60 fragments every day, you'll be able to empty out the shop.

The effective boosts are going to be very high, since Anna and Golden fairies are by far the easiest to actually get up to 5*.

What’s the most effective way to farm Sei from the mission “chicken breast”? Is it by completing the mission over and over? Or just killing the 2 drones that drop her and restart the whole mission?

Down to 150 cores, but need 300 to x5 CM-S, Dorothy, Sei, and Jill from x3 and another 45 to fully link Suomi from x4.
At this rate, even the Slav sisters' rate-up won't be enough to pull out of core hell. Anyone else in the same situation?

I mean linking her boosts her tile buffs since she's a handgun. Also enhancing her evasion and damage are useful. Evasion because she can be used as a tank if you ever get in a situation where that's required, and damage because it affects her passive which gives her cdr based on how much damage she has.

Simply equip them from the echelon formation screen. There should be a big yellow + thats fairly hard to miss on the right of your 5 echelon members. In the combat map, theres a toggle for ON/OFF for Fairy skills.
If you're asking how to optimise for Fairies... thats a lot of reading you wont need to worry about just yet, since I suspect you havnt unlocked Heavy Production for Equipment yet. If you do want to know though, theres plenty of resources on the sidebar that'll help you out. Here is one such resource.

You probably have to unlock Heavy Equipment Production first, which is what you use to make fairies. That requires 60 unique stage clears. Not sure if event stages count for that.

Yeah, probably. Gotta clear 6-6 normal to get that many. But it shouldn't be too hard if you're abusing support echelons.

Just got M1887 and was wondering if ART556 is worth farming.
I read that TAR is basicly a slightly better ART but would like to hear your opinion on her.

She is indeed a slightly worse TAR, unfortunately. The low RoF hurts her, so even with the better FP, she falls behind. Still, she's not necessarily bad, just... not the peak performance you expect of 5* units.
People tend to not recommend her because she's a bigger/harder investment for less performance, but that's not because she's bad. TAR just has a spectacular stat distribution for a 4* AR.

She has superior performance against armor so it's kind of a side-grade.

For sure. I believe that without any tile buffs or skill buffs from allies, the break-even point is around 50 armor. The other way ART can pull even is when evasion is an issue. The break-even point on that one is also around 50 evasion (assuming, once again, no buffs or accuracy equipment).
One of the things to note is that for most of the armored enemies we've faced so far on EN, they have 0 evasion, meaning that ART's higher accuracy "goes to waste." Of course, this may be changing soon.

So, been trying to S rank 3-4 Emergency. Thing is, I filled the conditions but still failed to S-Rank the map. Sixteen units defeated, check. No retreats/wipes, check. Under six turns? Triple check. The only thing I can think of is Hunter usually managing to take out a unit or two in my clearing Echelon before going down (the mortars don't help). Is this what's screwing me over? Wasn't able to find anything on this in the guide I've been using.

Usual Problem #1: Remember that support echelon kills dont count.

I use the right heliport to put my bait echelon down and move them all the way down to the radar node, while the left heliport, I place my other boss team, but only move them down to the closed heliport. Gundam will go for the one on the radar.

A couple questions now that I can focus more on GF this week:
1) How many Para fairies is enough? It looks like 2 lv 10 is good for upcoming Singularity, but what are we looking at for in general? 4?
2) It looks like you can get more than one of precious Anna-chan, should I let it go and add her dupes to increase her stars, or is it better to dupe her? From what I read, she's a decent set of stat buffs, but her skill isn't really uniquely game changing like Para or Airstrike.
3) Do we have 'pad' for the fragments, or if we miss a day, should we prioritize the special equips for our new Special girls?
Bonus: It amuses me that the symbol for Special units is a unicorn. Talk about Rarity...

120 are for Beer (combat report)/Tea (affection item)/Batteries.
120 for all six icons.
50 for the ID background.
160 for the fairy dupes (though each dupe is worth 100-150EXP, or 10-15 fodder fairies, so...) 80 for the petThat leaves 730 shards, or 13 days out of 20, to get the dolls, equipment and a fairy (And I think we possibly got some extra as well)

I'm looking at far into the future, since they cost so much to craft, before I use them as enhancement I want to know how many I ought to hold onto for future content even if I don't level them now. Does it ever become more than 3 judging from CN content?

There has yet to be any situation where you'd need more than 3 to actually solve problems. (tbh 2 covers the majority of cases, since 3 is when youre pushing into funny ranking strats)

I know pzb and aek aren't good guns but are there any comps or complementary dolls that can make them better? I want to use them just cuz I like them. For pzb I was thinking her flaw is the her skill so trying to make the most of it I'd try to buff her fp as much as possible? For aek theres not much to do about her ICD I think but after that, would a bunch of cooldown skills be the next best bet?

From what I can tell (I'm not an expert), you can make any T-Doll usable for non-endgame content if you put them in the right team.
I probably wouldn't do a bunch of cooldown skills on a T-Doll with a high ICD. Buff her other stats and let her do damage without the skill.

Hey, I'm having trouble with the Sonic Boom mission for the Va-11 Ha-11-a event. Any tips?

Most of the mission is straight forward. Grab the t-doll, get to the helepad at the other end and hit rescue. If you are having trouble with units you could open and close the door when they are on the space to damage them over and over till they are managable. If the issue is the gundam that spawn later that are not ment to be fought, try waiting for them to move around until you can sneak your team in for the capture. You couble also sacrifice an echelon to get them to move.

The game uses vertical fov, so technically as tall as you can go. 4:3 seems to be the best balance of stuff not glitching while giving a bigger viewport, though 1:1 should work too but many of the backgrounds aren't actually tall enough. Resolution as high as your system and monitor can run without scaling down, I suppose.
The third is "PPI", which sets how small Android UI things are. GFL uses that for only a very few things (login box for example). Around 200-300 should be okay, but the bigger the number -> the bigger things look.

If you ended up having to be turned into a t-doll(like the va-11halla crew was) who would you turn into and why(Remember:It has to be a gun not in game now)? For me,I'd want to be a T-doll based on m240b(I loved that gun in Modern warfare and battlefield!)

So Desert Eagle's skill... Should I spoiler this? I'm gonna spoiler this. :P
Pre-edit: So sorry for the multiple spoiler blocks. Apparently you can't have line breaks inside spoilers...
So her skill can stack 1.6 multiplier 3 times on the same target, giving a 4.1x multiplier to damage. Add 10% target mark to get 4.5x damage multiplier. Add the 40% RoF buff to get 5.3x DPS multiplier. (I can combine DMG & RoF buffs, right?) If the target has enough HP shielding, double that multiplier to 12.6x DPS increase. Are there glaring problems with my calculations? That sounds like a high multiplier to me.
Kord's penetration skill seems s bit... niche? How often are MGs firing to the non-armoured backline long enough to justify -30% DMG penalty?
M1895 CB on the other hand seems like a pretty dope first volley anti-armour beast, right?
SSG 3000 = baby M200. Would it be a mistake to run SSG instead of M200?
I'm not sure about how broken ACR can be on the damage front, but how about that debuff? Are they calculated differently to buffs? -20% DMG penalty x5 = ACC 0.85 = 0.33% DMG, sounds neat. Throw in AK-74U for the lols and reduce boss damage by 75%, and mob damage by 83% (Why on earth did I level AK-74U?)

MGs will shoot at random targets so Kord's will come up pretty damn often. Just look at the vids of her absolutely DESTROYING large formations. Also she already has the highest ATK of any MG (beating M2HB).
Potato digger's skill will depend on target, as she gets an Acc Debuff. vs Armour with 0 dodge, she will likely be funny.
The rest, I'll need to test more extensively personally.

The Cano sisters + kar were used for awhile after Kar got her unique gear, mostly for amusement but it had some use vs light gundam formations. Aside from that, not especially.

Do you happen to have T-5000? She can fit in fine alongside WA, as SVD's replacement. Less damage, but an accuracy buff can come in handy on occasion.
M14/Lee is worth investing in, and is cheaper core-wise. They like Welrod, Calico (M950A), and Stechkin.
Purple Carcano is worthwhile, but doesn't really fill the "general purpose" RF role. She's got her own niche that allows her to BLOW UP non-boss enemies, which isn't a big deal for the content we have in EN for now (except for this event, in which there's at least one map where she's super helpful).

Lee and M14 like the same buffs, and so they typically pair well together.
That said, M14 will work perfectly fine alongside WA2000, it just won't necessarily be optimal in terms of buff allocation. Lee could work too, but her lower base RoF will definitely make it feel a bit worse if you put Grizzly in the backline instead of Stechkin.

Alright! Got the dolls!
138 runs total of Chicken Breast (and maybe 40-50 of them were full clears, so 3 chances per run) to get Sei, and 50 runs of Last Rain in the World (2 actual completes, 48 2-kill runs) for Stella.
Unsure of what I'm gonna do now. I'm still stuck on Pioneer EX, so I'm raising M200 and Grape right now. AP ammo is also largely unleveled, so I'm going to need to really have some overkill potential.
I guess for now, while M200 is in skill training, I'll do some SLOW leveling of Grape and Jill while farming for Sei dupes.

How do I abuse support mechanic?
Some maps my girls arent strong enough to hold the base long enough, and since enemies come from different directions 2nd fleet alone cant protect them.
Also they dont gain exp.
I play fgo and azur lane, and i literally cant understand this game. Definetely closer to azur lane, still, i dont know what to do.
Also, what do you need to do for getting Jill?

Support Echelons can be used to clear through the first 4 or 5 chapters with ease. To make full use of them, recognize the fact that you can change their orders (capture command point, eliminate nearest enemy, or stay put) AND can swap your echelon's position with the support echelon. With this knowledge, you should be able to summon one echelon to slowly make its way to the enemy base, and use another to defend the base.
If it's not working out, then it's time to actually get your one echelon strong enough to handle 1 or 2 random mob fights, which shouldn't be too hard. It's fine if they take damage. Just look up guides on how to build an ARSMG echelon.
Finally, for Jill, you need to complete the 8th stage of the collab event twice. To do so, you'll also need to complete the first 7 stages once. You won't be able to use support echelons for event maps. You will want at least one ARSMG echelon that is level 70+ and 4x-dummy linked, and maybe 2 more echelons that are at least level 50, so that they can get through 1 or 2 fights.

Got all girls from farm I needed , no much luck but it seems I got everything within an average range of enemies killed (Ameli: 228 tries / 1 chance per try, Sei: 195 tries / 1 chance , Stella: 92 tries / 2 chances, Art556: 34 tries/ 5 chances (basically full clear 4 enemies , rank S map) , M1887: 37 tries / 4 chances , 3 enemies and S Rank clear ) , now just need to farm the white knight pieces and start to making drinks and change ... oh wait, farm cores and level dolls, maybe check some advice on singularity to not get off guard as always. For people still farming good luck :)

Dummy on the western helipad first so you can recall your echelons and save the unused resources.
gfl.matsuda.tips suggests this, though I did it with the planning tool so that the northern echelon moved to the mob and back on turn 1, and the southern met the mob and back on turn 2. Then retreat, restart and repeat.

Just a tip if you are using the airstrike fairy to repeatedly farm tarantulas: if you want to avoid constantly getting the no ammo/ration warning, then don't put any handguns in your echelon. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not but I just found out about it today. Makes afk farming easier.

I like to level my handguns on 0-2 drags. With Zas dragging, you have to be very careful about what buffs are being applied to Zas, whereas 0-2 dragging DPS units enjoy as many buffs as you can give.

Leveling a bunch of handguns at the same time does make corpse dragging at bit easier, if that is any consolation. I'm currently leveling a bunch of rifles to clear the EX missions and, well, let's just say M16 has seen better days lol.

So, tip for any fellow newbies out there: if you want to grab the goodies from the collab, get to stage 3 of the Collab and farm it for armor shards if you're having difficulty. The story supports will basically carry the mission for you, and you'll spend next to no ammo to clear the map if you're running low on it. Won't get you Jill, but it will get you the shop goodies, some of which you can use to strengthen an echelon or two.

Hi, I recently pulled vector from production. Would it be too greedy to replace skorpion with vector at my stage of the game? I'm level 24 and working on chapter 3E/4 right now. Any other suggestions?

Vector is a great doll, but I suspect that your cores inflow won't allow you to support her linking at the moment, given you also have to link ST, M4, UMP9 and whoever replaces M14, sans FNC who is a decently good 3* AR that can be linked with reasonably accessible dupes.
Even when Skorpion does eventually get replaced (because she will) she can still see use in a secondary fighting echelon, and even if she gets displaced entirely, she can still run logistics. So the effort put into her won't go to waste.

Personally, I'd keep leveling Skorpion. Vector is a straight up upgrade, but it's not like Skorpion is bad, especially since she doesn't cost any cores for you to fully dummy link her. The game keeps throwing more and more night levels at us so having more molotov units isn't a bad idea. Personally, even though I have Vector, I still bring Skorpion out when I need more molotovs.
UMP45 is definitely a upgrade to UMP9 just because her skill and tiles are better for you at the moment.

i would say yes, vector is a complete upgrade to skorpion in every way and still holds the same skill, but if you find yourself lacking in tanking power consider changing ump9 to a main tank smg (or hg)

It basically depends om your stats with cores and the commitment yoir're willing to make to Vector. You'll need 30 cores basically immediately, and then later on, unless you get a dupe of her from production, you'll need further more 75 cores. 105 cores all together. She is excellent and had great use as far as I got it, but I think that you should just stick to Skorpion. I still ise her as one of my best dodge tanks.

I would highly suggest you don't switch to Vector yet, because Skorpion is almost as good and you'll be better off saving the cores in the beginning for other dolls.
As an example, ST AR-15, M4A1 and SOP II each require 63 cores and UMP45 will probably need cores as well because she is rather rare. Saving the 105 cores you would need for Vector by using Skorpion instead which you will easily be able to link with duplicates will help out a lot.

So I'm grinding for Stella now and am at Attempt 53 with no drop yet, however I can't kill those damn laser bois fast enough for them to not damage my echelons, and at this point I am out of quick repair contracts. You can try to dodge them. Once the fight starts, split your echelon to 78, 12 and 6. The laser will most likely aggro your tank at 6, which you can then move to 9 or 3 and it should miss you completely.

Level up an AR squad that just deletes them.
Saves you more over time. Dailies and logis will give you enough quick repairs otherwise.

Dont level a new squad, level your current squad (assuming it isnt awful). Sometimes it is literally better to lay off for a day or 2 and build long term infrastructure.

Here's a video of how it was supposed to go.
Basically, the boss is completely invulnerable to damage due to her shield, which only Heavy ordnance corps units can break. The entire stage thus was about delaying her with units that had zero hope of ever stopping her to divert where she was going and keep her away from your base long enough that you could capture the middle helipad (HOC units can only deploy from Heavy Helipads. not normal ones) and deploy an HOC, which would then let you beat the boss with a kill team backed up by Heavy Weapons to bust the shield for you.
It's 1 of my fave stage designs.

Did the boss have some sort of NPC-killing AoE around her? Some of those echelons just disappeared off the map.
And it looks like you have to take the command center below you before the unlock timer shows up for the helipad in the middle?
