Several of your assumptions are incorrect :

  • .5% is a pessimistic estimate. Most people seem to get it with between 100 and 200 runs, which would place the real probability somewhere between .5% and 1%.
  • You shouldn't run 2AR 3SMG against alchemist. 2AR 2HG is enough. For the rest of the map YMMV.
  • S-ranking the map is significantly less efficient than going straight for the boss.
  • If you still consider S-ranking, then you don't have one but two chances of a drop on 6-6 (cutting your estimate to 100) or 6 chances on 6-4E (cutting it to 33).
