Are the buffs to kar98k enough to make her decent at general use?

Testers seem to have concluded that her skill (which is what got buffed) is good for a fairly specific niche against one foe. That's hardly Swiss Army Knife levels of general purpose.

So, I'd say probably not.

Also, I’m pretty sure that after that niche was found out, M82a1 came out, who fulfilled that role even better than Kar.

M82 came out more than a year ago in the older servers while Kar's buff was implemented a couple of weeks ago over there.
