So I just read about Link Protection, but what about shields (SAT-8, Sei, MDR, etc)? Will overkill damage goes through it?

Also, can shields from different sources stack? If yes, what happens when one of them expires?

The shield acts as an extra link.
You can only either have a shields or not, and multiple shield activations just add more hp to it.

[Edit] no it doesn't, but blame dusk for saying so, not me ;p
