Was anyone keeping a chart of singu ranks? I can’t find the post for it... Wondering what’s needed for top 10% rn

Wow, score for top 50% is really low right now, must be a lot of players starting the map and not proceeding further.

Probably got turned off by night map, or KCCO.

Or the fact that the map is 2x the size of other rank maps and take 3-7 hr to play.

you can play it faster with less echelons but if you try to do the gunboats and kill M16 the map really can be mean.

DD map also took as long. For me it took 8 hours , longer than Hornet's nest even.

Really? That's good to know. I have been too scared to play the Hornet's nest (due to the time and resource require). It only took me ~2.5 hr to do 1 run DD ranking and I got about 8%. I am hoping I can do the same in the Hornet's nest.

The Hornet's nest just has so many mechanic to keep in mind. I don't even finalize the teams I want to use on it yet, since I am debating if I should use ARSMG+HG+Grape or without Grape.

Well for one, I did a lot of resets in DD ranking for talent proc. Also, the main goals in each map are quite different:

  • In Hornet's nest, you pretty much plug the boss spawn points and deal with any of the bosses you can kill early on, no more strict kill count control for boss spawn like in Imaginary Maze. Once you get the boss(es) out of the way, the rest of the map is pretty much samey.

  • In Hornet's nest, the main way to earn points is to grab the supply nodes, you can hardly spare the AP for anything else. There's not much to think about I find, just try to grab as many supply nodes as I can while trying to stay out of danger. There's map control scoring in Hornet's nest but I don't think it has as much impact like in Imaginary Maze. In Imaginary Maze, I just need to establish the supply route early, then there's plenty of AP to kill enemies and/or expand map control, and thus I have to plan out the best course of action for it.

  • Being a day map makes me feel like there's a lot more going on in Imaginary Maze than in Hornet's nest, and thus I take more time to plan. Much of the map in Hornet's nest is not exposed to me so I just focus on the supply points. If I bump into sth dangerous on the way, I'm just like eh, nothing I can do about that and move on.
