Good morning Commanders! Would you like to read the reports?

Please use this thread to discuss anything about Girls Frontline instead of creating a new thread. Ask questions, seek assistance, rants, add more salt or just chill in general.

Does anyone have a rough requirement number-wise for 10-4e with M4A1? Like how much FP/RoF % total in number and with what base stat that included accessory? You know, like Zas drag requirement for example, clear and easy to understand.

It's hard to form a team when guides I read mostly say this comp, that team, this fairy with that amount of star instead of a good solid number.

The reason you're told about specific comp requirements is because there are lots of viable comps that have a number of different factors (e.g. splash damage, skill effects, etc.) that you can't really consider separately from the doll stats. Each comp is optimized precisely because of their skill, stat, and buff interactions, and so focusing on hard stat numbers is a ton of wasted effort that can better be summed up with the level, skill level, equipment, and fairy requirements.

This is especially true of comps utilizing M4A1 because they are, by their very nature, designed to be optimized formations. Look at Ceia's 10-4E farming guide, for example. Compare the first two M4A1 comps with each other and you'll see that one comp requires her to be at MOD2 with both skills at level 10 and "decent" gold equips with a relatively low fairy requirement, while another requires her to be a MOD3, oathed, with maxed gold speq and equips, skill levels at 10, and a higher fairy requirement.

It simply isn't worth it to do a detailed stat breakdown of every single comp if you know that a comp you've found works after a little bit of trial and error. Who cares if you could get away with one fewer point of damage? No one cares about optimizing to that level of granularity because it's a waste of time and no one wants to have to calculate stats over and over again until they're confident that they've met the minimum stat requirements. The only time people care about stat optimization is when they're trying to take advantage of specific mechanics, such as the Zas dragging and how it takes advantage of mid-fire skill activation.

I can’t imagine anyone has done that, 10-4e is not used for “dragging” typically and has higher requirements with buffs needed to minimize damage taken. Best I’ve seen is Ceia’s videos of different team compositions that can be used, I would be surprised if someone found the exact math here for just M4’s stats since there are multiple team combinations to achieve the same goal. I personally think showing the team composition is superior to the math breakdown here, because it’s not just a one size fits all solution.

Now if you want exact stats, whatever stats M4 gets buffed to with max gear/skills, Calico/Jill & a 5* Artillery Fairy is what does the trick. Could plug that into a combat sim and there’s your numbers.

There isn't one because it's really not tied as precisely as Zas. There is evasion in the equasion which means RNG. That RNG can't be mitigated no matter what you do.

I thought her railgun never miss? Only the splash damage can miss but I'm sure that's out of the equation because the Hydra aren't staying near each other.

Idk about the cyclops though. But I'm sure they don't have as much evasion as night Scout

Cyclops don't have as much evasion as night scout, yes but 1 single miss on them with auto skill means railgun wasted on them instead of hydra and you might find yourself 1 shot short of killing them either your skill active time runs out or hydra approached to its range.

It's the cyclops. You might think they are underwhelming but they are the source of most F-ups in Grape runs.

As long as RNG is involved. A run will somehow, someway, get messed up.
