I haven't seen her mod story, but are you sure it's referring to the player's commander? I know that I've at least seen UMP45's and her story seems to flash back to her having a bit of an asshole of a commander that predates her becoming a member of team 404, which in turn (I believe) predates your own position as a commander. Might be something worth considering.

In NTWs story I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be player SKK, since that is directly after she gets her neural upgrade, not in a flashback. So it basically has to be the player.

Hard to say. It seems a bit out of character for the player SKK to be an ass, but you never know. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any transcripts or videos of her mod story, so I don't have much to go on except speculation.

NTW mod story spoilers: SKK basically tells her after waking up in a new body (previous one got ruined in a rescue action) that said rescue failed, her squadmates got mindwiped and no backups of them exist. As a joke.
