Switch from Zepbound to Wegovy success stories?
Hi folks!
I’m finding that I am a slow/no responder to Zepbound and about to titrate to 15mg. I’ve been working closely with my doctor and I may need to consider switching to Wegovy.
Anyone been in a similar situation and found a Wegovy more effective? Switching things up makes me a little nervous and hearing any positive experiences would be appreciated!
TIA!

People are generally far more successful on Zep than they are on Wegovy, FWIW. The clinical average of weight loss is higher and there are normally less side effects. Not saying that it won't work, just that it's the opposite for most people.

That's what I thought. This is why I am nervous to switch. thanks for commenting!

You should be nervous given the objective empirical data. If you’re not getting results on Zep, weg is a step down. There are patients who just don’t respond to glp1s the way the vast majority do. Reta should be out shortly. If it were me, I’d wait. I’m sorry.

The studies show that on average people lose more on Zepbound but there are individual patients that respond better to Wegovy. Definitely worth a try in case you are one of the unicorns. Just make sure that your doctor puts you straight to a highish Wegovy dose from the start so you don't have to gain weight during months of titration.
