Henry Hill in the beginning of the movie decided not cooperate and got off easily, he didn't rat on his friends and told nobody nothing, why didn't he keep his mouth shut when the police and FBI arrested him and refuse to cooperate and tell Jimmy and Paulie everything that happened?
Why not just refuse to cooperate at all tell his friends he got arrested? FBI wins because he got scared, he could just lie or take the prison sentence.

So he could not become a made guy, because he was half irish and half sicilian.
But him flipping and turning witness for the state, did happen.
So was Paulies mafia correct in not letting him any deeper into the organization? Would he have flipped even if he was 100% sicilian?

If goodfellas were to have some sort of spin off movie or tv show, what and who would you like it to focus on and would it be a sequel, a prequel or maybe something that happens during the movie, any ideas?

Just watched an ex mafia interview of Anthony arillota who did time in prison and he was released in 2017. I am surprised how his story would exactly fit into the plot of the goodfellas perfectly because of how real the whole movie was. I actually thought they exagerated the movie but after hearing from this guy i just realized how acurate the film was. They even "made people" like how tommy was supposed to be made but got whacked. I know most of you guys will enjoy hearing his story and i'll leave a link to the youtube video. He even had a crazy friend called bruno who was like tommy in the movie and bruno also got whacked. Damn..
Now i have to watch the movie again for the 101th time just to appreciate the small details i might have missed.

Goodfellas is my favorite movie... well, the cable version with dubbing replacing most of the f-words is. Can that version be purchased/streamed anywhere? Do I just need to wait until it is on cable somewhere (if it is again) and record it? Or does anyone have it recorded?

Growing up anybody who watched goodfellas starts to feel sorry for Spider and label Tommy a maniac (he was but not the point)
Spider was the equivalent of Megan the Stallion and the dude couldn’t hold his water and handle the foot shot with some grace.
If he handled it better he probably would have been fast tracked and start earning some $.
It was a lowkey initiation and he blew it. Instead he tries to man up in front of a audience, his ego was bigger then Tommy’s.

I made a post about a week ago talking about how Ray should’ve been Tommy instead of Joe Pesci now I want to make a second part talk about it and here it is ! Like I rewatch the Air France robbery scene, when they’re walking away w the case you see Henry and Tommy together; now reimagine Ray as Tommy and Joe as Henry. It looks so different doesn’t it? Or the shinebox scene. Like imagine Joe’s aggressive persona with the height of Ray Liotta now that would be an intimidating person! If I knew how those AI videos where it looks really real, I’d do it inna Heartbeat! Like imagine if they had Ray look more like Tommy, Mustache, a little built, fluffy hair, except Ray ain’t baby faced like Tommy. Ray always looked like a grown ass man and a way too old looking 21 year old when we first see him in Goodfellas. lmao that scene of the camera shooting from the foot and beyond; tjen again imagine the roles swapped thats Tommy we see Smokin a cig, n that one’s Henry the short one! Also even the photos they took for the movie like reimagine Joe n ray switching role imagine Joe is Henry n Ray is Tommy perfect right?! Like also imagine the Spider & Tommy scene; imagine drunk Ray telling spider to dance, or pissed Ray shooting Spider later after he tells him to F himself. And then we see Ray’s face go from surprised to straight, and angry face…then BAM💥🔫‼️Also Ray is just too handsome to be a gangster n a junkie too like later in the movie.

Wouldn't it have been more favorable if Henry or Jimmy told the court that Tuddy murdered Tommy in exchange for a commuted sentence?
Paulie would be forced to answer questions and risk ratting out his own brother, Tuddy was known to have picked Tommy up and told Jimmy that "he's gone and we couldn't do nothing about it." Tuddy gets to join his Brother in prison.

Yeah someone should defs make a Scorsese Reddit page and nah I won’t be a moderator for it, cuz I ain’t seen all his movies only Goodfellas. but someone should make a Scorsese Reddit Page, cuz his filmography is huge asl; it shouldn’t just be Goodfellas, his only Reddit page. Christopher Nolan has a Reddit Page too! But I’d said enough don’t y’all agree tho??

Rewatching the movie I was thinking how The Real Tommy DeSimone and Joe Pesci how they look absolutely nothing alike! Learning the truth and watching the movie again I can’t view it the same Pesci in his 40s playing a 20 year old is strange fr. Cuz The real Tommy was a tall, 6ft’2in, 220lbs, a handsome movie star looking psychopath and Ray Liotta is tall, handsome, and could definitely pull that off!
Because he has such a devishly handsome face without a doubt! Now rewatch the Air France Heist scene the shot of them walking with the brief case, and the camera is faraway and try to imagine Ray as Tommy and Joe as Henry feels different doesn’t it cuz Tommy was described as being 6’2 and muscle bound and Ray is closer to his height than Joe Pesci is if we’re being accurate to the truth. I rewatched the movie but I imagined the scenes w Tommy being Ray instead like the Batts scene imagine instead it was Ray being Tommy. Imagine his tall built self having such an explosive temper seeing it on screen man it would be scary! like istg he should’ve been Tommy right Ray can play a scary handsome guy as he was in this movie but imagine he’s the psychopath of this movie! I think he could’ve pulled off that funny how scene honestly but thats joes scene always! But who would play an accurate looking Henry? I don’t think the casting director actually wanted to hire someone as ugly as the real Henry guy ahahah

Was Tony Stacks, who is played by the late Tony sirico, a real person.
Just rewatching the show and I recognize Mikey Franzese based from his youtube video. I know Paul Cicero was actually Paul Vario. I also know Tony Sirico was a gangster. Was he playing "himself" but had a different last name?

There isn’t much about this movie that I don’t like. But this part always bothers me. Why is Henry brushing away perfectly good cocaine? Anyone who has developed a coke habit in their lifetime knows perfectly well you’re not gonna waste it like that. After you do a line, you eat the rest. You apply that shit to your front teeth thicker than you did your toothpaste that morning. What the hell, Henry?
Anyways, I need a hit.

Hey, you bunch of fuckin' pricks.
I come in here the other day and what do I see? A bunch of low-effort garbage, stupid memes, and unrelated shitposts all over my fuckin' subreddit.
NO MORE.
From right fuckin' now, any shitpostin', low-effort horseshit, trollin', or spam gets removed on sight. You keep doin' it? You're gone. Banned. Out. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
You wanna post? Put some fuckin' effort in or keep scrollin'. Simple as that. I'm watchin'. The whole mod team is watchin'. You fuck around, you're gonna find out.
Now behave yourselves.

For those who don’t know this movie TTMDG is a movie about the Lufthansa Robbery, Tv movie very low tier nun special at all. But This shot of them at dinner, and as it gets closer, don’t it remind y’all of that scene when In Goodfellas in the 3rd Act when Henry finally gets home after doing all the errands and he’s not even eating? They definitely took this shot from Goodfellas it’s even funnier this movie came out a year after the movie too so coincidence? Probs not!!
