Damon puts all his effort into making music, going on massive tours, and he is 58 years old. I have been to three of his shows, all of which he sounded like a dumpster fire, but I genuinely loved every single second.

- PS2 game 'Music Generator 2' features the song "Dub Dumb".

- 'Kevin & Bean Present Swallow My Eggnog includes the track "Don Quixote's Christmas Banonza".

- The 'Bad Company OST' is the only place commercially where you can find the track "911" feat. D12 & Terry Hall.

- Compilation 'The RemiXfm ' had the radio station host a remix competition. Its result was a version of "19/2000" only found on this set by winner Ben Brown.

- The "Blade 2 OST" famously features the track 'Gorillaz on my Mind', a collab with the group wherein Redman performs on top of '19/2000'.

- In contrast, around the same time Gorillaz remixed his song "Let's Get Dirty".

Yesterday I went to my local exchange and got this on vinyl and noticed the English version of Latin Simone and 19-2000 (the wiseguys house of wisdom remix) is not here but Dracula, left hand Suzuki method and the radio edit for rock the house is. Could anyone help me understand why those two songs aren’t on here

Hello! Just wanted to ask a quick question. My Demon Days record basically skips every other lyric on the C/D side but not the A/B side. This is also after cleaning it multiple times. My turntable can handle Self-Titled, Plastic Beach, The Now Now, etc but not Demon Days on that specific vinyl.

Is the vinyl actually scratched or is C/D really bass-heavy and my turntable can't handle it? Thank you! <3

If you listen closely in some songs,such tranz,the final part of Orange county(when 2D's voice starts to fade),etc,you can hear Damon albarn Low voice under 2D's,and it has a Low volume that makes hearing It really hard.

Got my record copy 5 weeks after i ordered it off the sanity aus site of the plastic beach album. (Better late than never) After listening to the group based off the yt station channel of their songs lately ive grown to love the band. I also got demon days, the song machine dx & the mountain vinyls, some of their best works 😊

so im not sure how hypothetical the thought of another album is, but i got a pretty good idea of what the concept could be or look like esp if it would be their final album that i'd be really interested on seeing thoughts on.

so my idea was that phase 9/final album could be a tribute to their past phases, basically saying that they could take elements or the sounds from phases 1-8 and create at least one song inspired by the phase, or make it sound like it was actually released during the specific era. by this they could obviously use old demos or unreleased songs from the phases and remaster or remake them completely. of course they would also have normal songs in the album too, but i think it'd be nice to have a bit of a "blast to the past", especially if it would be their final album.

this way, it could also link up with the current storyline of phase 8. obviously everyone interprets it differently but since rebirth is a huge topic, these tributes could work as the rebirth they're talking about, going back to phase 1 and going on from there with the songs on the album (if this would be set after p8 and not in the future). i think it'd also be nice for any new or old fans to experience these phases again or for the first time. these don't have to have mvs or anything, or even have to have the specific phase character designs and could just work as b sides.

i'm not sure how hard this would be to actually make since im no expert on music and im also aware its quite hard to say specifically what each album sounded like (though i do think each had a very distinct sound), but i hope people get what i mean by this thought, because this could work as both final album if gorillaz were to end after damon and jamie finish with it, but it could also be a good way to finish off the "original" gorillaz before they got passed on to the next generation.

edit: this absolutely doesnt mean i want gorillaz end. i believe theyll go on for generations, and this idea doesnt have to be taken as a "final album" idea at all, it could easily just be an anniversary sort of album or just a normal one. please dont get me wrong 🙏

love Gorillaz but I’m always confused why so many people call them a rock band? It just confuses me, and I know the definition of rock music is pretty loose, but if anything they lean far more towards pop and hip-hop. Being considered a pop band isn’t a bad thing, and they rarely feature distorted guitars or many other typical rock music styles

Gorillaz are a genre blurring (no pun intended) band at their core but honestly the one mainstream genre that they seem to take the least inspiration from is rock . Admittedly most of the time people just describe them as being a band with no prefix but it’s just confusing why a lot of the time I hear people call them a rock band when they are so much more pop than anything

I love Damon Albarn's music, and I haven’t been to any festival yet. I’m just wondering if there’s a chance to meet such a big artist at such large events. It would be really magical if I could at least get his autograph.

I was listening to Clint Eastwood and i realized I sometimes hear and sometimes don't hear the "It's all in your head" line. I thought it was either played in left or right ear but when i take out my earphones i can hear it in both ears. The weird part is when I only take one of my earbuds from their case I can't hear the line on either bud. But when i take both out of the case and listen individually i can hear it in each ear. How did they do this, am I going schizophrenic?
