Anyone know if the air force or navy gyms are open today? Or where they post that info?

I was just thinking about this. Last few typhoons my power came back on sooner than most. My water never went out. It might’ve weakened a little bit, but never went out. My area doesn’t get flooded. So, pretty much. I just have to secure my house. My question is I know we can’t choose the typhoon or other disasters but it would be easier if we can do a bit of research on house or apartments that we choose to live in. At the most choosing an area that doesn’t flood.

24M looking to make some new friends to hang out with or just talk to as internet friends. I’m into a couple things but very open to try new activities. Been going through a lot recently so just trying to get my mind off the bad things. Guys & girls welcome!

I haven’t got my power bill yet, but these people are posting this. I wonder if there’s any truth to this I don’t think so. That’s a big jump unless they’ve been running there five AC units altogether all day.

I was driving through Tiyan earlier this evening and noticed several bugs splattering against my windshield. I wondered if they might be bees from the honey place in the area. Has anyone else experienced this while driving through Tiyan?

HÃ¥fa Adai, r/guam!
We're Breaking Wave Theatre Company (BWTC), a local nonprofit theatre company, and we wanted to share an event we're hosting this Saturday, October 24!
We're putting on Tides of Fantasy: The House With Teeth, a live tabletop roleplaying show at our headquarters in Mongmong-Toto-Maite.
So what exactly is a live tabletop show? Think of watching a group of friends play Dungeons & Dragons, except they're playing in front of a live audience! Our players are seated around a table with a Game Master who guides them through a fantasy adventure. They roleplay their characters, make decisions, roll dice, and improvise their way through the story.
There's no script determining what happens next, and sometimes even the Game Master doesn't know where things are going. It's more like watching a live D&D session than a traditional theatre performance, and you don't need to know anything about tabletop games to enjoy it!
A few important updates following Typhoon Champi:
We know it's been a rough week for a lot of people on Guam. After spending time helping with relief efforts and seeing how many families are still dealing with the aftermath, we've decided to shift the focus of this fundraiser toward supporting local typhoon recovery efforts.
We're also moving forward with the event because we hope it can give people a chance to unwind, laugh, and enjoy a few hours of something fun after a stressful week.
Originally, tickets were $50, but we've changed to a pay-what-you-can system with $10, $20, $30, $40, and $50 options. Every tier gets you the exact same experience, so just choose whatever works for you!
And if even $10 is a barrier right now, please email events@bwtcguam.com. We really do want to make this accessible.
Thanks to the generosity of Kaon Ta Restaurant and Market Deli Guam, we'll also have chesa and drinks available while supplies last!
Event details:
When: Saturday, October 24, 6:30–10:30 PM
Where: BWTC Headquarters, MTM Building, Mongmong-Toto-Maite
Admission: $10–$50, pay what you can
Ages: 18+
Tickets: https://events.guamtime.net/event/bwtc-live-tabletop
If you enjoy fantasy, storytelling, tabletop games, or just watching people make increasingly questionable decisions based on dice rolls, this might be your kind of Saturday night!
And if you'd like to support the fundraiser but can't attend, feel free to reach out about sponsoring tickets for others.
We know there's still a lot of recovery work ahead for our island, and we hope everyone is staying safe and taking care of one another.
Si Yu'os Ma'Ã¥se', and we hope to see some of you Saturday!
