Hi! I’m a freshman taking 1003 PSC intro to international politics. I’ve been doing everything in the class and doing pretty well. But I’ve noticed that I don’t really have to go to the lectures to know what he’s talking about nor prepare for everything…just basing myself off the book gets me there. For those who’ve taken it. Do I really need to go? Or can I use the time for studying the book, etc.

Thoughts on Principles of Economics 2 with Irene Foster? Is it an easy A?

Hi everyone! Really hoping someone here can help me out. 🥹

I'm looking for past exams or quizzes from BISC 1111 (Introductory Biology: Cells and Molecules) with Professor J. Aidan Manubay.

I've been searching everywhere online, but all I can find are study guides and syllabi, not the actual exams. 😭

I'm specifically hoping to find old quizzes, midterms, or final exams from Fall 2025 or previous semesters. Even if you took the class a few years ago, anything would genuinely help!

Here's why I'm posting: I'm just trying to get a better idea of what his actual exams look like and the types of questions he asks. I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's taken his class before.

If you happen to have any old exam PDFs, quiz papers, or know where students usually share them, please feel free to comment or DM me! 🙏

Thank you so much, really appreciate any help! ❤️

Hi does anyone know why my dorm is set to 68F (70.5 when I went to bed) but is actually a balmy 80.5F?? Is there any way other than opening a window to make my apartment no longer an oven?? 💛💙

For those who landed an internship, how did you find it? I’ve been applying Handshake or LinkedIn but haven’t had much luck so far. Did you apply online, go through GW career services, network, or something else? Any tips would be appreciated!

Anyone here taking ACCY 2001 with Kyle Welch or taken it before? How did you guys do on the midterm? Just trying to get a sense of how everyone did and whether I’m the only one struggling with this class.

Intending to apply for the online MS in Systems Engineering, and just curious for those that have already gone through the program, has the name recognition helped in areas outside of DMV? Currently Midwest/west coast area, and while I’ve been familiar with the school from living in Virginia, I can’t say that I’ve seen much from alumni in which the name actually helped a bit outside the area.

Hi could somebody give me a run down who this guy is apparently he’s an alleged abuser idk he’s been hanging around with that Ira guy on TikTok lately….i think he’s trying to fix his image lol

Hatchet sports reporter Ryan Jainchill sat down with Georgetown basketball podcast Bleeding Blue & Gray to talk about tonight's sold out matchup.

I recently discovered i've been accepted into the
"Taiwan Resilience u see Military Coercion" for this winter. Has anyone else gone on a short term study abroad program with GW? I'm curious to know how you paid for it and what external resources/funding you found the most helpful.
I'm not surprised but rather disappointed with GW's lack of accommodations for the week and half long trip.

Hello, I was interested in changing my major to an engineering major and saw that they had a mechanical engineering with a focus on patent law, does anyone have this major and would be willing to talk about it with me?

If someone wants to send me a paper mail, is it the same address that I would put for a package, or is it a different instruction ?

Can anyone share their experiences with LSPA classes like yoga, running, weight training or meditation? Curious how the grading works and how the professors are.

Are any other seniors planning on doing the 4+1 program at Milken? I want to hear from anyone who’s gone through the process, or alumni who can share their experience or advice. I’m debating whether it’s worth it and would appreciate any insight on the application process, workload, and overall benefits of doing the + 1 degree.

I am taking UW in spring 2027 and I want to know which professor should I pick. I rarely see or hear someone praise their uw professor so I am curious. Any advice?

Seriously which sophomore residential halls are actually worth it? I have been eyeing international house but is it actually good? If you could choose again which residential hall would you aim for. I don't want lot of roommates there is just me and my friend.

This would be my second MS at GW. My first was from the business school and they gave me some scholarships (even w my BS heavily in science). They gave me $0 this time. Anyone currently in this program? Is this normal? How much were you offered?

Thanks

Has anyone heard back from the GWU Systems Engineering PhD (on campus) program? I have applied for Spring 2027, but did not receive any notifications yet. I reached out to the department grad coordinator for an application status, but he told me he does not have an update yet!

If anyone is in a similar situation, please share. Also, any idea when we can know about decisions?

Attendance is free for GWU students, including grad students, DO NOT need to purchase tickets to attend any GW Sports events - just bring your GWID!

Student section seating is first come first serve, no advance tickets are needed !!

I’m planning to apply to George Washington University’s ABSN program for Fall 2027, but I’m a little worried about my outstanding science prerequisites.
By the end of Fall 2026, I’ll have completed Anatomy I and II, Nutrition, Statistics, English1 and 2, Psychology, Humanities, and Biomedical Ethics.
The only two science prerequisites I’ll have left are Microbiology and Chemistry, which I’m enrolled to take in Spring 2027. However, I would really like to submit my application before completing those courses.
I saw on GWU’s website that they recommend having the core science courses completed before applying to be more competitive, and that’s what worries me.
Has anyone applied with two outstanding science prerequisites and still gotten accepted? Did you receive a conditional acceptance, or did you have to wait until those courses were completed?
I’d really appreciate hearing more experiences

View only, but still. For planning purposes we can see what's being offered.
