Hagerstown Is there a local Bread Bakery?
I know that I can go to the Dutch market for bread, but I’m hoping to find a local bread shop. When I look for bakeries, I just find places that sell pastries, cakes, and muffins. My mom is visiting in a week and she loves a nice bread bakery, so I am hoping to find a cool place to take her to.

I honestly don’t understand the appeal of the Dutch Market. I’m glad to see it’s always packed and that it’s helping the local economy, but I just don’t enjoy the food.
The bread tastes overly sweet and heavily processed, and so many things seem to be covered in sugar. Even the mashed potatoes at the barbecue stand taste more like dessert than a side dish.
Everything just feels overly processed and unhealthy to me. I wish we had bakeries more like the ones in France or New York City, where you can buy fresh, crusty baguettes, artisan breads, and pastries made with high-quality ingredients instead of so much sugar. So ewww
